I've seen a few lovely excerpts where she goes off about any man ever trying to treat her like he did. And also of her and Ivy being adorably domestic together. I wish we could have that anywhere outside the comics too. Decent bi representation is lacking - as is good representation of someone who's survived and escaped an abusive relationship and is happy and healthy. Although...they're both still a little villainy haha.

Yeah, it and it makes me happy. And furious that people keep reverting her back to just being a villain, and usually Joker's henchman. And their "love" being "goals." And that we will never see her growth on screen. Or her + Ivy on screen. Assholes. Oh, they are still a bit villain-y, but much less so.

Yeah - anyone who looks at them and thinks 'goals' (especially the most recent portrayal of their relationship) is absolutely out of it. It's so gross. I assume I was supposed to find it horrific and gross anyhow. I love Margot's portrayal of Harley, but I hate that anyone romanticizes what she has with the Joker there especially.

I've gone off on a few people for it. I need to remember to simmer down and explain myself better instead of practically shouting "NO" and incoherent reasons. I haven't seen Suicide Squad because... Well, because it didn't look good, and I hated how both Joker and Harley were presented both character and costume wise. I hate their relationship, but Joker is still my favorite male villain, hands down. Ahaha, thank you !
