As always I'm late to the party. BUUUT -stretches- man did it feel good taking a break (and sleeping properly) after Survival(though I'm not gonna lie I do kinda miss it :P) . So for the strain discussion I got: (Y'know, and I don't regret having gone after this strain anymore. Still ugly, though. 😄 but at least the plushie is kinda cute) and currently working on
As for Masquerade I am thinking of trying to put together a new outfit rather than use the same one I used last year. . getting around to actually doing it is a whole different matter. 😒
This is me :P
, I impulse bought those shoes a few days ago. I'm so glad to see they are actually cute!

hey guys. think i might have worn myself to thin i have a cold or real virus going on. My last minute song virus should be fully mature tomorrow though so that is something.
I never got to sleep as much as I wanted to. I did Survival on my break (and I tried to stay around as long as I could) and as I speak, I have two midterms back to back, starting in about eight hours. ;~;
During Survival I stayed up pretty much until either or whoever else did the lists got on which was like at 3am my time(I'm 3 hours behind Subeta) almost every night during the event. I definitely felt it the next day. x~x And you got this! You've been preparing for these exams. Don't let a bit of sleep deprivation keep you down. =)
Let's make a pact to sleep well next Survival, now that we know what we're doing :P
Actually, I only studied for one of them at this point. :3
Well then I hope you have a magic 8-ball handy. o~o Good luck!
I think I might just give up on studying and go to sleep soon, since I have a headache now. e.e
I might be okay with the one I didn't study for - it's only worth 12.5% and I feel like I might be alright on it anyway, since I enjoy the class and pay attention.
i mostly slept 5 - 6 hours during survival i went to sleep at about 5am and woke up at about 10am
good luck on your midterms ^^
Yay, I'm human again! I almost feel bad cause I was nowhere near as dedicated to the thread as you guys were. I went to bed when I got tired lol But I did do a ton of biting from my phone at work so that counts too right? :p
I've also got a full collection of Tique (minus the three newest sets cause I'm a lazy bum) if you want to spread out the borrowing a bit. Between the two of us, we can get them all knocked out without much stress c:
I hope you got some rest last night! Good luck on your midterms!
First midterm done and grabbing some food and a drink since I finished early.
It's weird to think that I'm older and more experienced in some ways than most of my classmates. It's a second year course (which I took because at this point, I'm sick of labs) and this my fifth year. I automatically use a pen for written parts because profs require pen if you want to contest your score. These people seemed devastated when told to write in pen and many didn't even bother to bring a pen. They still seen so... new. o.o
The horror. Pen use! We might all die! But in all seriousness, that's a little sad. I can see it happening, but still. (Also they clearly haven't found the joy of the Pilot G2. Incredibly cheap, but quite a nice writing experience for something so readily available.)
<3 I'm working with Jess to tackle the problem of my achievements. It'll definitely be an endeavor, but hopefully not be horrendous.
One of my first year chemistry profs made us to math in pen, partially because of the contesting thing but also because he liked seeing the handwriting get messy and people cross things out as they run out of time. Strangely sadistic, I guess! They would not have liked him.
My finally finished!
I've never heard of using pen on exams to contest your score. Now that I think about it, I've only ever had two professors require pens for exams: chemistry and political science, both at the senior level. Everything else was in pencil.
@ Yumei if i would see that behind a door i would close the door and wish i'd never opened it XD
@ krae yay! my Foot Rash finished some time yesterday
My Naughty Nip should be done any time now. As much as I enjoy Survival, I am so ready to be done waiting on zombie skins :P
A lot of our professors gave the tests back, so if you felt like you didn't get enough credit on an answer, you could go to the professor and talk about it but if you wrote in pencil, it's easier to erase your answer between getting your test back and going to the professor about it. That's the point of the policy anyway. You could write in pencil if you wanted to, but your professor doesn't have to look at it again if they suspected that you changed your answer to get a better mark.
And I've seen my friend completely beg to a professor for a higher mark before (and I'm surprised he gave it to her - I think she had a hard time admitting she wasn't good at a class) and heard strange stories from professors about what not to do when you got your test back, so I believe somebody would probably try change their test answers if that the policy wasn't in place.
I also have one prof who likes to mark with pencil, so you have to write in pen so she can erase her comments and couldn't erase your answers. :P
