Yeah, I guess I'd call it a bug since it's not supposed to work that way. I just deployed a fix though, for the vault search, item directory search, and legacy shop search. If there are still problems in one of those pages, or someone finds another place where whitespace needs to be trimmed, please make a bug report :)

Thanks so much for compiling and keeping track of all of these suggestions :)

Under the Events/Alerts category, it would be nice to have an alert when a recipe has finished baking in Fantine's Bakery. Sometimes they take a while to bake, and it's so easy to forget to go back.

Battle Coliseum 5., the one that says say if you've defeated the Challenger ten times.

Maybe this suggestion was made back when there weren't item-drop rewards for repeatedly beating the opponent up past ten wins?

I dunno if this would count as controversial, but instead of marking ten wins, it just says how many wins. This way you could tell both things, not only that have you gotten all the XP, sP, and fifth win drops, but have you gotten all the other special drop rewards.

I have another suggestion. Rename one of the dashboards.

We have the dashboard/events and the dashboard in preferences. But they aren't the same dashboard and is kinda confusing if someone is mentioning the dashboard and you don't know which one they are referring to.

Chiming in: I'd suggest renaming the User Dashboard page https://subeta.net/preferences.php rather than the sidebar dashboard ... its url is Preferences, its webpage title is User Options, and if it wasn't for the tiny little "Username's Dashboard" under the "Custom CSS" link then it'd have no claim to being called Dashboard.

Suggestion: Add an average wait timer to the Custom Pet Overlay home.

I submitted my first overlay a few days ago, and there's honestly no indication of how long I'm going to be waiting. As I've found via talking to others and perusing the forums, nobody actually has a clue how long it should take to get a custom pet overlay approved. I've seen people say they were approved in a few hours, and others say it took a couple of weeks. (The one week mark seems to be the average high point though.)

If they added a timer to the page (ie, "Typical wait time is 4 days 12 hours") then there would at least be a baseline for managing expectations! (They could add a line into the overlay rules about submitting a ticket, like don't submit before day 7 of waiting, or a general, "the UAs aren't able to answer this for you" like they have in this (extremely outdated) pet spotlight post.)

- a few ideas for Battle Coliseum. Not sure if they need discussion threads.

  1. Your Scroll Library lists all scrolls in who-knows-what order. Please make more logical (eg high-to-low AP, or alphabetical like the Weapon Armory is, etc).

  2. When challenging an opponent, the Customise tab lists weapons in inconsistent order (partly alphabetical, but many not). Please make more logical.

  3. Weapon Armory lists all weapons alphabetically. List by Tier then alphabetical?

A timer isn't something we'll be adding to that page. The average wait time is no longer than a week unless there's been a huge issue going on, and we always get to it ASAP. For what it's worth, submitting a ticket because something hasn't been reviewed yet doesn't help - it just slows down the process since now we also need to review and respond to the ticket :) Just be patient!

^ This missed the entire point of the suggestion. The point is to give people an idea of how long they'll have to wait. For things like custom pet overlays, cw approvals, steamworks schematics, creating nostalgic pets?, billboards, tickets, csc purchases (I'm aware that this is mostly controlled by other parties, but it's still a question that comes up), etc. where the original page gives you no real indication of how long you'll have to wait, users end up panicking and posting in the help forums or submitting unnecessary tickets. If you shove in a quick disclaimer saying 'you may have to wait up to 1-2 weeks' (or however long it's likely to take), you'll quash those worries before they come up.

People don't need an exact timer or to know their place in a queue. And I'm aware that the time these things take can vary wildly. But at least give an indication of what's normal, where possible. (E.g. a few hours to a day, 1-3 days, up to a week, 1-2 weeks, etc.)


Here's my own disclaimer: I'm trying to be clear rather than rude, but I'm also really sick. x)

We will not be implementing this for CW approvals, billboard approvals, pet overlay approvals, and ticket response wait times. It's just not feasible.

There is no wait for nostalgic pets :)
