I'm an amateur astrologist. It's interesting to meet people who don't believe in astrology say "huh, look at that" after I do a basic astrological profile for them.

Do you believe in astrology? If you don't, have you ever had an experience where astrology "kind of made sense" even though you don't believe in it?

I have no clue about astrology tbh but I think getting an astrological profile could be interesting.

There are some great sites if you search "natal chart calculator." You'll need the time and date of your birth, as well as where you were born. The calculator will generate and break down your natal chart for you. It's not as great as having it done by an astrologer, but they are pretty good.

I loveeee astrology. I'm a Pisces so it's unsurprising. I really love a lot of metaphysical things but I think astrology is probably my favourite and doesn't seem as "hokey" as other things.

I was obsessed with Astrology toward the winter end of 2012 and luckily fell out with it after that. I have to admit that I find it hard to believe that the planets have influence but because everything else does I kinda go 'well why not' at the end of the day.

With a username like Magic, I'd hope you'd believe in it. 😉 There's so much to astrology. It's actually quite overwhelming for me at times. One of my goals this year is to start learning predictive astrology.

What other metaphysical things are you into? Are you familiar with your natal chart?

My sister-in-law is an Aries on the cusp of Taurus, so I understand where you are coming from. It would be interesting for you to take a look at the transits in your chart to see what could be affecting your job progress. One of the things I tell others is that even if you don't necessarily believe in something, it can be beneficial to see another point of view because it can help how you look at your situation.

Yes! I haven't really looked into it much but I literally just had a friend read me mine while we had a get together last weekend. I have very paganistic views (eclectic wicca specifically) so I'm pretty open to all that stuff and especially open to learning more.

I don't believe in astrology but I have nothing against those who do / practice it! I believe that any accurate predictions are due to very broad assumptions that the mind links to it's own experiences and memories. That's just what our mind does, it finds relevance in our lives. I can relate to any sign. I also have read a lot about Aries "typical" personality that is nothing like me.

I still think it's cute that my soulmate and I ended up both being fire-elements together. But I like that more because I like to pretend fate exists, not that I actually think it means anything.

Astrology always surprises me! The logic behind it doesn’t sound right but it’s always so accurate when I read about mine or others signs. Even my moon and rising signs are accurate to my personality!

I have similar views, as far as being open and having an eagerness to learn. However, I am not "organized" enough to really view myself as wiccan. I don't have a regular practice.

There's so much more than just your sun sign. My sister-in-law is an Aries on the cusp of Taurus, and she embodies many more qualities of a Taurus than an Aries. My husband believe that my "woo-woo" beliefs can be attributed to apophenia, but I like believing that there is something more than the everyday mundane.

I am a very all-over-the-place person. I know a little about a lot of things, but when I get really passionate about something, I go ALL in. My sun and moon sign are both Gemini, and my rising sign is Aquarius. Needless to say it makes total sense, haha. Have you delved into your houses and things like that?

Astrology is definitely something that I will obsess over for a very long time. I must admit I haven’t read any of the other moon and rising signs except my own but I should get to know them more so that I could say ‘You’re soo an Aquarius rising!’ lol. Another thing I do need to read up on are the other houses. There’s so much to know about Astrology it’s exciting! Have you been studying Astrology for long? (By the way I’m Cancer sun, Libra moon and Leo rising :-)!)

I love astrology memes. Memethezodiac comes out with some funny ones, but you have to know quite a bit about astrology to understand them. Sometimes I have to check my book to make sure I understand it, haha. I started studying astrology about three years ago. At first, I only studied my chart. I recently started working on other's charts. My goal is to be able to practice predictive astrology by the end of the year. If you want to learn more about astrology, I recommend Llewellyn's Complete Book of Astrology by Kris Brandt Riske. That's been my go-to book along my journey.

Easily thrown off as in confused easily or distracted easily? I am very much both though! I have ADHD but even with medication I’m very known to be confused and distracted a lot. I like that even my star signs point out that fact about me haha!

You're welcome! Cancer is a very emotional sign and having your moon sign in Libra could hint that you really need to feel balance inside and in your surroundings. Leo rising, however, may push you to not necessarily be dominant, but be prominent to people. I interpret it as you are very much your own person, but you are still affected by your surroundings. I feel like all those energies would make it easy to be thrown off balance in an emotional way. Does that make sense?

I honestly did not expect that! I just kind of laughed at what I first thought you meant because it was a funny little detail about me but your explanation of what you meant has me amazed! I definitely know what you mean, I think about this a lot lol! Do you talk to people about their signs a lot and do their star sign descriptions always match them?
