Not much happening here. Just came back from the pet store (I have one a 5 minutes walk away, yay!) for some food for Pusur and I bought kitty grass that I am gonna grow. :) And some groceries. Went for a walk Monday and yesterday. Walking again tomorrow, so I am def. back into the swing of things. :)

After this denim jacket, I'm aiming on making a waterproof anorak - I'll do a rough version in calico first though, to check the fit & make sure what alterations I need to make seeing as it's designed for someone taller than me :P

I reckon you'll manage this one without any frogging nods after all, you've got the hang of any fiddly bits in the pattern after making that other one ;)

Thanks :D gathers up the luck I was working on my denim jacket today, but managed to sew the sleeve to the neckline rather than the armhole blushes that took about an hour to unpick it all, so I've pinned the sleeve in the right place this time, and packed it away for the day.

nods I had to take 4 inches off the pj bottoms I had for Christmas.... I would make my own, but ironically it's cheaper to buy them and just take them up, rather than buying the fabric ;)

At least with your sewing machine it will make taking a few inches off easier I would think. :) It never ends up looking great when I do it, with my very limited sewing skills. lol I sometimes just end up tucking the pj bottoms into my socks or roll them up as best I can. :P Some have an elastic band at the ankle, which helps. :)

Alright I am going to watch the good doctor, it's on the top of my list. And I'll see if I can finagle some more time to watch station 19. lol :DI will have to look into Dexter. Also I've been told Stranger Things is really good too, so I will add it to my list. Hopefully Netflix does not stop airing these all. My biggest problem is I dislike a lot of gore and certain things trigger me into anxiety so I try to avoid those things. If I see or hear specific things even once in a show I'll put the show off and never watch it again.

From Criminal Minds, I also love Reid! He is so cute and quirky! <3 I love that show. I like psyche and monk because they are sleuth-like shows that have a bit of humor, so it's fun to have that mix (for me at least). I don't need everything to be deadly serious or all heated up in drama all the time (I get enough of that in RL).

Ohh, if you dislike gore, I would not recommend Dexter. It does get quite gory and violent. I wouldnt want it to trigger anything bad for you. :) I have seen the first season of Stranger Things, and I loved it. :D Its such a cool tribute to the 80s. :D 80s kid here, as born in 1980. Man I feel old. lol I dont think netflix is gonna stop airing it, as the show is a netflix original. :)

I agree, I dont need my shows to always take themselves too serious either. Its more an escape from real life and its problems. :) Love a show that can make me laugh. Have a thing for dark humour too in shows, which I guess its not for everyone. lol

I live in Norway, but the part I live in doesnt usually get much snow. :) Other parts of my country tho can get a lot! Especially in the mountain areas. California sounds really neat! I guess you get warm weather mostly? Or? :)

Yes we have. Not often and not a lot but we’ve gotten it. Yes and no. The shrimp came in but they were UGLY, so I bought Orange Bee shrimp instead. I’m hoping the fish come in today. :D and then I can put in more shrimp next week or the following week. Yeah I would’ve liked to have missed them altogether but oh well. How are you?

They're forecasting some milder days, but the middle of next week might potentially be cold enough for some sleet at least ;)

yeah, unpicking some things is ok, but I made a few holes near the edge of the denim, so I need to be careful how I sew around that. I'll try and zigzag some stitches across the holes just to make sure they don't grow! nods I'm always wary of cutting the bottom length off (I can never cut a straight line :P) so for the last two pairs I did, I just made a 4 inch hem instead :P I never used to like trousers that had elastic on the hemline, but I'm beginning to see more point for it, if it saves the hassle of taking them up! ;)
