- I am here now - at least until I finish battling the event challengers. I am infected with Deathslug in Stage 1, so I should be able to put on my Lovebug Skin and bite you.
- Tos can't take on Nacho Muerte, yet but managed 5 wins on El Trigrean (along with 54 losses). Both Tos and Tharg got 10 wins on The Shadow, but Gulp hasn't beat him yet (after 8 losses) so maybe not this year. So far Tos and Tharg have 10 wins against Stone Hombre and Guilp and 81 each have 5. (He managed to kill Tos once with a chain freeze, though, as well as beating 81 twice). Might go back later to see whether Gulp and/or 81 can get to 10. :-) All four pets have 10 wins on Senor Fuego with no losses and now I'm working to do the same against Little Escarcha. :-)
I'll go sign up for VIP then! :)
Good job on all those dummies! :D
- thank you.
Lovebug biting now. It will take a while since you'll need about 8 (someone said 8-12) bites.
Nice job and congrats on all those wins! I am no where near that many battles. I need to get busy and before the last day! haha
Here's a handy dandy biting link for ya https://subeta.net/bite.php?user=107773 ;) <3
Edit: I didn't know you needed that many bites! Well I'm infected now, thanks again hun! <3
- thanks for the link. Yes, you should now be infected. I would check and make sure it looks like you have the right virus - just in case there were any glitches with how things are supposed to work. Then relax and enjoy!
Now that I've removed my skin again, I still look like I have the first stage of Deathslug so all looks well at my end.
- thanks. With your top pet, you should have no trouble at all - even with Nacho Muerte. The biggest problem with these challengers is they freeze ... a lot. And several of them block all but one icon type of damage much of the time. (Well Nacho Muerte does have that curse that limits you to only one weapon, but you've probably seen that before too.) Have fun earning all the new achievements. :-)
Yeah it looks like the right virus! ^^
- excellent! I was almost positive it would work right, but you never know with computers. Every once in a while they do something to keep the programmers busy. :-)
Yeah I won't have any problems with some of my pets. I will get there little by little. I will never get battling in with all my pets. I would lose my every loving mind! haha
I only really battle seriously with one pet, but I'm trying to train up the rest now, one of them can take on some of the easy challengers at least. I think I want at least four of my pets to be battlers :)
I am so sorry hun I meant to ping arixen on that last comment. I am brain dead today. LoL
That is awesome that some of your others could take on the easy challenger. We all started in the same place hun and your doing great! If you enjoy it, it doesn't seem like work. It would be awesome if your main pet could take on some of the morostide challengers when they come around. If my memory serves me correct there are some that have amulet drops, which is awesome. Then there is the nightlady that has random drops of the skriek scrolls (freeze scrolls) All kinds of things for you to look forward to hun!
I suspected that might've been the case, but no worries hun ;)
Yeah I really hope so :D She's tier 4 now, I guess I should be able to get through at least a few more tiers before Morostide? ^^
Oh yeah. I bet you'll be a T7 by then if you keep up with your BQ'd and doing Quentin quests for amulets! :) You'll have so much fun hun! <3
- Haha - yes. I have four battle pets now which is about half a pet too much, but I just had to make that last one. She's the first pet I created to be a battler from the start and I've had so much fun with her already. I don't know how some battlers seem able to manage a whole pet army (or 's team of SAI spies). :-)
- The littlest ones grow fast! Especially if you are doing BQs and using your EXP. Don't forget to keep reading to those battle pets. (I really wish I had done a lot more of that!)
Nightlady would be too hard for a T7 pet (I just managed to get wins on her this past Morostide) but you can get a freezing scroll by putting together the scroll pieces from getting 75 wins each on Daemon and Mama Mush and putting them together to make a Cold Blast Scroll (that's also much more reliable than getting Nightlady to actually drop a Shriek :-) ) And there are lots of fun event challengers that you will be able to beat as your pet(s) grow. Like Survival most of the events have a wide range of challengers so you can just battle and see how far you are able to get. And then see how much better you are the next time they show up. Every year you'll be able to beat someone who gave you fits last time - and that is always so exciting.
LoL @ his spies. 21 out of 24 of mine are top Sai's . Only thing I am waiting on for the last 3 is time. They have to be each stage so many days. Him and I have been friends on here forever. He is so quiet. I always tell him he just thinks things and doesn't say anything and I am the opposite, I can't help to say it and think later. :p
I think four is a nice number to start with. Notice I did say start with. It become a need and not a want after so long. :P
- so you also have a SAI spy network. Very cool.
True, can be quiet - but he's really very nice and so funny. I'm sure the two of you must have some great stories about years of Subeta battling and events.
Nope - I created 81 because I had all those battle eggs sitting in my inventory and I've already promised myself that's it! I originally only wanted a single Subeta pet. Tharg was created when we needed to create a pet for an event and then I didn't have the heart to give him up for adoption (of course) and then Gulp was made when we needed to eat something for an event and both Tos and Tharg were in the resort (back when we couldn't get them out). That's why she's named Gulp, LOL. Tos, of course, was my first Subeta pet and didn't battle for a long long time after she was first created. So 81 (that's pronounce Eighteen, by the way - long story) is my first and last created battle pet. I've already made sure to start eating or deleting the new battle eggs I'm getting since the reset. :-)
I can understand creating another one since you had the eggs in your invent. Those things just call to you. I am surprised i don;t dream of free boosters. :P
Well at least you have said enough is enough. Good for you. It is so much easier with that amount. You don't get burnt out with event opponents and other things that come along with a crap ton of pets.
All my pets are ones I created. Sizzlen was my fist pet and fist battle pet. The poor dude is always capped, but he still get battled!
Yeah at first I was only reading to my main battle pet but I'm trying to catch up on the others! I really want all the exp I can get for Bonnevie so she'll be as strong as she can be but I actually gave Meryff two of the battle quests yesterday because I felt sorry for him that he wasn't getting any.. :O xD
Sounds like I have some fun stuff to look forward to! ^^
- free boosters are always nice, but those eggs can only be used on the little ones and you can't get them out of your inventory. They were seriously getting in my way when I tried to quest so it was either make a new battle pet or start eating and deleting. And then we had all those easy throwback challengers, so new battle pet it was. But definitely no more. I'm more than happy with the family I have now. :-)
You did a great job getting Sizzlen capped (and I assume he's also your high ranking pet too) so it's only fair that he gets to enjoy battling sometimes. I assume he comes out for events and special challengers since he doesn't earn EXP any more. What is his final build (or do you change it a little every now and then)?
- definitely keep up with that reading - especially when the books are fairly inexpensive and easy to get multiples. Fortunately - I started collecting books just because I love them well before battling so I do have some stashed away in my vault for my battle pets. Also be aware that you will eventually need intel stat boosters to get a really high AP - at some point you run out of books (and the stat boosters also start being cheaper than the books that are left). LOL
Aw - nice of you to give Meryff a couple BQs. I know some battlers who give their second battle pet the early BQs and then finish with their main battler as a regular habit. Personally, Tos gets all the BQs and the other pets just fight the event and monthly challengers, but then I'm not using my EXP. It's getting saved for Tier 11 or 12. :-)
Yes - you have all sorts of fun things to look forward to. That's one of the best reasons to have/make a second battle pet is to enjoy those another time. I am having a wonderful time with 81 and Gulp too. Just figuring out how to beat a challenger without all the battle stuff I'm used to being able to use with Tos can be interesting and then it makes me feel so great when I get it done. :-)
I had used so many dang leeches on him to get him more the way I wanted. I finally just said pee on it because after hundreds of leeches I just felt like it was such a waste on all the time, exp and boosters I paid for to just be taking it away now. I think if they ever change the cap again I will go for more strength.
My pets are all pretty similar builds, with just some small difference to change things up a bit. I think with one of them I am going to keep the health under the 10k mark so the healers I use are not capped for that pet and raise the other stats and see how I like that build.
Any- hoot like I always say there is no wrong way to train a pet unless your highest stat is speed. :P,
