I want to thank everyone for the thoughts and prayers, we came home from the hospital late last night, they were able to do 3 of the 4 surgeries. I'm utterly exhausted and really don't have time for chatting but I wanted to stop by and let y'all know he is doing ok. It's going to be a long road ahead, another surgery to come but we will be ok. Love yall.

Congratulations!! It almost sounds like a catch-22. On the bright side you're young and if you can hang in there for a couple years it will look good on a resume. Truthfully, it sounds like really fulfilling!

Oh wow! I've been to Fairbanks and many years ago I lived in Anchorage for 5 years. Driving up there in snow is not that bad! But here near Seattle most people don't know how to drive in snow. Or without snow either. lol

Great news! I'm glad he's doing alright.

I certainly have lived a great many places (and visited even more)! I would have to say my favorite place to live was either Alaska or Virginia. I had so many opportunities in both states and many great experiences. My favorite place to live for the people was Hawaii. The culture there was so unique and everyone there was welcoming. I had a great ohana there!

I'm doing pretty good, although a bit stressed due to an upcoming move. How are you?

Where are you moving? I'm well! Had a bubble bath and now just watching TV xD I kinda binge ate some chips and now I'm mad at myself.

How are you able to watch that? I just overindulged in chips too! :-P

I spent about 6 months in Hawaii, but couldn't find work. I really loved it there though! My hubs and I always talk about moving back there. What made you like Virginia so much? I imagine it's beautiful but have no clue what it's like there.

I live in Belgium currently, but I'm moving back to North Dakota temporarily to live with my sister. I was going to go back anyways for my brother's graduation and wedding, but now I'm staying until my dad can find a job somewhere.

I don't really know! I was fairly young, so I only remember about half of everything that happened there. I just remember we had some awesome woods and a pond behind our house, and my best friends lived two houses down the road. Most of my few years there was spent in that one area and I just remember it being wonderful. What was your favorite part about Hawaii?

haha yes, it can be a challenge. it is warming up.. just have to wait for it all the melt and then we will have a muddy mess. but i'm okay with that.. just its make hubby's work downtime.
