I like the variety of veggies that are offered as part of the main meal - carrots, parsnips, sprouts, red cabbage and turnip usually make an appearance on our family table.

I'm a big fan of ham with pineapples and cherries on it. My mom makes it every year.

Yes! We don't often keep cinnamon sticks in our stock of food stuffs but when there's a holiday party and there are some for the nog it's A+

I have to say the best thing ever is a nice, crispy-skinned, glazed turkey! Specifically, the dark meat. Ooh~! People who think the white meat is better don't know what they're missing out on, but more for me!

And an honorable mention to homemade apple pie. Mmm.

My favorite holiday food is smores pie!!! It's very good, it's basically a chocolate custard pie on a graham crust, with roasted marshmallows on top. It's very easy to make, I suggest it for your next holiday party. I use the recipe from gimme some oven.

The strawberry one is the easiest since we cut the berries when we get them, before they go in the fridge. So I really just have to add a yummy handful ^_^ But I don't get to make them that often. I really should more...

You should ask for the recipe for your birthday/christmas/whatever gift until he gives it up! Well, maybe not. Then it will probably turn into your responsibility to make them ;)
