I tried adding an item from my inventory to my vault, and it worked, but I can only find it if I search for it. It doesn't appear on the vault's default page, where recently added items usually appear.
I should note that I did not use quick stock to move the item. I moved it directly from my inventory.
Did you use the inventory on the dev site?

Under the Search Filters form, do you see a dropdown menu that says "Category" on it? That dropdown menu should have all your categories in it. Under the dropdown, there's a link to go to the page that allows you to edit, add, and delete categories.
If you still don't see it, please remove your custom CSS and check again in case the CSS is accidentally hiding it. If it's still not there, please screenshot for me what you see under Search Filters and I will investigate further.

ahh i see my problem. xD I thought that the dropdown was only for if you wanted to search for something in that category. Since I didn't need to search for anything (just look at it) I didn't try that. Maybe a note could be added somewhere for people like me who take things way too literally? (lol) If i see search and a box, i'll assume it's just for searching haha, but then again maybe most ppl aren't as dense as I am sometimes. -.- Thanks for the info!!
Using Chrome on a Windows machine. Running pretty smoothly for me. Adding a few items from inventory to vault and in between categories and there is no noticeable lag on my end
I love that I can refine my search to one category only! It would be helpful to be able to search by Item Use as well (like in the shops). Also, would it be possible to change the vault category on multiple items at once?
ps. LOVE the little mouse hehe
I think it tripped you up mostly because it's so different from what you've been used to. I don't think changing it is necessary, at least not at this point. I guess if I change the title from "Search Filters" to "Filter Items" it might be more clear what the form is for? But over time I hope it will be less of a problem as people get used to it. Using a dropdown for the categories here is more consistent with how it's done elsewhere on the site, such as wardrobe drawers and shop/gallery categories.
Those are things we can think about implementing in the future, but aren't included in our current update.
