Battling does require some trial and error so you may end up wasting crystals sometimes. That can be kind of frustrating, but it's often unavoidable. Just do the best you can and don't be afraid to change your strategy/crystals if you realize something would work better.

I hope so! lol. Also...in your opinion, are any of the new scrolls (the combo ones...from the tattered scrolls) worth it? I can make a couple now...I know off the top off my head that I can make the frozen one

The new attack mods are better than singed baguettes now

I think Emerging Rifts is the second best, followed by Burnt and Soggy Muffins because it takes up few AP.

Protector of the Rich is okay, but takes up more AP than Ocean Currents or Aftershocks while its stats aren't as strong.

So would you recommend the Cold Blast then? I can do the Burnt and Soggy Muffins...I'm working on getting the other two tattered pieces for the Rift scroll

Yeah, Cold Blast is the best of the bunch, imo. I was just recommending others since you already planned on getting that one :P

Here's a guide to the new scrolls: tattered scroll combos. Which ones are 'worth it' is up to you. I was just naming the ones that I thought had the best stats per AP spent :P I think you can earn one of each tattered piece per pet, so you can get another if you decide to sell one now.

Do you think the cabochon crystals are better or would the better crystals start at moonstone level?
