not sure in the beginning the first 6 rounds all goes well and i even get the hoarfrost down to 3k and all of a sudden ( i think its his scroll) when my freezing scrolls are gone he chain freezes me and in 2 rounds he brings me from full health to zero :(

i wonder if i need to bring my str higher then my speed ?? or vice versa ?? but i think he will even quicker crit hit me then isnt it ??? isnt it safer to have str higher then speed ??

finaly got my third win :):) very proud of myself now lol -- okay 2 more wins to go !!

The achievement that gives the lantern back is actually for only 1 win, so it's even easier.

If you can beat the Effigy in BQs then you should be able to get the achievement no problem.

Is it the Effigy that you can battle from 20 onwards or is it the other one? (is there another one?)

Pretty sure there's only the one version in BQs, if it's The Tormented one then that's the same one you unlock with the lantern. The regular Cursed Effigy is only available during Fireside.

28/30 for BQs today which makes it 18/31 days done.

I'm confused now...so you can buy the item, then win it back? I haven't had my coffee yet...nothing is processing...(7:30 in the morning here)

You need the Iron Fireside Lantern to unlock Cursed Effigy the Tormented, but there's an achievement for defeating that challenger one time where the item prize is an Iron Fireside Lantern. So yeah, basically you use the item to unlock the challenger and then get it right back if you can beat him.

It's the rare (and by "rare" I mean "only") unlockable challenger where you don't have to buy the item twice if you want one for your wardrobe/armoury/gallery. Now if you want one for each of those...

That's crazy...lol
