I'm back here and there, anyway, haha! Between the push toward final exams and NaNoWriMo, I'm practically a cryptid. Sightings of me can most often be chalked up to the imagination, and when I do show up it's strictly for food. ;)

For lack of the kind of attention span it takes to write chaptered stories, I'm writing a collection of one-shot fanfics for the Star Trek AOS fandom. :) I have the beginnings of an idea for an original novel, but it wasn't nearly developed enough in time for NaNo this year, so it'll have to wait!

I just hit the 30k mark. In the home stretch now! :D

Oooh, I do like the new movies and takes on the universe. Although my introduction was through TNG so it doesn't feel like it's replacing my memories/beliefs, which probably helps.

Do you write about all of the characters or do you have favourites? I think I'd be partial to Bones for the character, and then anything with Spock because Zachary Quinto. xD

I definitely write 99% of my fics surrounding Bones. I liked TOS Bones, but AOS/movie Bones is just..... I could wax poetic about his perfection for hours. :D

I haven't gone back to re-watch most of TNG yet, so I'm a bit out of the loop there. I'm currently watching my way through Enterprise and am falling way too hard for Trip.

I've missed you, too!!! Dani's doing well, just busy beyond belief with school work this semester. She's got two labs that are sucking the life out of her, but she'll be around over the holidays!

NaNo really is a ton of work, and it's so weird, it's like it comes in phases for me. Some days I can write like 4k words no problem, other days I write 400 and I'm dying. Here's hoping I can finish!

I think we have a bit of all the houses in us for sure. I thought I'd have more Hufflepuff than Gryffindor, but my sorting quiz seemed to say different!

Although that was over two years ago - maybe my results would be different if I took the quizzes again now.

I've been well. Things got really busy at work but they're back to usual now. Just in the time for my personal life to start getting busy with the holidays for sure. Do you get a nice break for Thanksgiving and the December holidays?

I got sorted into Slytherin before the Pottermore revamp. Pretty sure that was when the site first came out period, so it's been a long time for me too.
