I love this idea too, but I wouldn't want it to be fully dark colors with light text on everything, because that hurts my eyes and gives me a headache. Also, everyone here, if you're not already using f.lux you really should be, it's an absolute godsend.
My god, is Aywas still active? I lost interest in it years ago, I guess I'm impressed it's managed to hang on.
interact with me!
Oh my bad lol. See I used the morostide theme year round because the browns are the easiest on my eyes out of all the themes (and I've had to custom CSS the forums)
But yeah totally an Underground/Root Forest theme would work perf. They could work on it and then introduce it for the next survival event
Oh yeah. They just got done with their Halloween Candy War event. I got a bunch of cute custom PSDs from pumpkins.
But yeah, there's still tons of active members. Message me if you wanna exchange IDs and friend each other.
We need a Pandemic theme anyway. There are actually a lot of holidays that need themes yet.
Support, night mode of the themes would be soothing for the eyes! <3

So I kinda... did a thing? -Night Mode- Shengui Guo Custom CSS [v2.0] :D
My eyes would greatly appreciate this.
see self-promotion above :)
For anyone who owns a Mac, you can put your whole computer into "Night Shift" or set certain hours.
They also make glasses now that have a special filter. I never ever see true white any more! My eyes are so much less strained now thanks to the filter on my glasses.
I don't have a Mac or special glasses.
f.lux is a program that does the same thing for Windows. Not really synonymous with the Night Mode that's being requested here but a great way to reduce eye strain when browsing the web at night regardless.
Windows 10 also has a "Night Light" that reduces eye strain. It can either be set for certain hours or made to follow sunset to sunrise for your location.
I use it and it works pretty good.

I only have win8.1
I've tried something like that and hated it changing my screen colors.
Also, happy birthday!
Do you use or know of the Stylish addon for browsers? You can take the coding created and create a style for subeta. This makes it so you can toggle it on and off.
I was just messing with it and got it to work pretty easily.

Yeah it takes some getting used to and I realise it isn't for everyone, it's a pretty big shift! I hope you find something that works for you. :)
And thank you very much!
Super support here. I use night mode (or the all dark but light font theme) on everything I can use it on because it's just easier on my eyes whether it's night or not. If windows 10 can include a darker UI for it's options and settings I'd hope Subeta can since Subeta seems to have its shit more together than Microsoft does most of the time.
OMG YES
All the support!
Every site should have a night mode or every browser should have the toggle-able option. I have Twitter set to night mode and it will stay that way for eternity....or until they discontinue the feature. Both my reading apps are set the same way. My phone will always have the blue light filter on and my laptop always has the gamma filter on. If something has a night mode or a filter that reduces the blinding glare and I find it, its set that way until the end of time. Just Night Mode for everything.
I just hate bright lights. Seriously...my mother calls me 'Gizmo'.
