Dad and Bro both have Arctic Cat (Bearcat sleds) and they both got some new gear to wear this Christmas. Boys and their Toys. They'd be upset with me, calling their sleds anything other than Bearcats

I've heard of snowmobiles, just haven't heard of them being called that. Sure they had fun, no matter how cold it was outside lol.

, I'm here, sorry for the vanishing act, the holidays aren't a good time for me. Normally I;m able to fake it pretty well and can function, this year was hard, not really sure why but both my sisters were likewise affected. Our Mom died a few days after Christmas-her favorite holiday-ironically we all came to the same conclusion, it would burn her biscuits if we didn't celebrate it

My mother is quite old and I worry about her, but she still burns my biscuits over all the little family traditions over the holidays. "Frieda! You may be Queen, but 'young ladies' don't light the Yule Log with paper and a match! Use the advent candle stubs like we always used to!" Moms...right? Traditions help keep memories alive.

Daddy is immune to her miasma of drama, he has selective deafness. She can talk at full volume right into his face and he will reply, "What?" Yet, if he is out in his shop, or down in the cellar and somebody whispers the word 'whiskey', or pops the cork on a bottle of Wheezle Brew, Daddy is there is a heartbeat.

Yup that's about a 5lb weight gain :)
