I work 6 days a week. I get one day off. So I never want to do anything on it. I seem to work more and more sometimes. I use to work 6 days at my one job and only 4 at the other. BUT then somehow the other job started putting me for 5 days. I like the money but at the same time it gets old. I need a vacation. Maybe once everything settled and I know money wise things with the new house I will take a week from at least the one job.

That is a lot of work. Kudos to you for doing that for yourself. I don't know that I could do it. Sounds like you do need a vacation though. Hopefully you get one soon!

Okay SOOooo I have to tell this story somewhere. I can't on FB cus I am not sure of legalities of it publicly locally at the moment. (You will understand what I am meaning with the story.

Last Thursday I was at my 2nd job (grocery store) and it was around 930pm. I was kinda doing nothing up front of the store because I was done with most of the things in my area. A cashier walks up to where I am hanging with a few other workers and tells us that there was an accident out in the parking lot. That the cops and that were out there. I reacted with "That happens all the time. Stupid tourist hit each others cars all the time." She responded "I think someone may be hurt" and she goes back to her register. Well since not doing anything, myself, my best friend (who also works at the store) head outside and the store manager heads to go get her coat (she is ALWAYS cold). We get outside and see that the ambulance workers are hovering over a lady laying in the middle of the road way in front of the store and cops talking to people. We were like "Did she slip and fall? Did a car hit her and drive off?" Around that time our security guy comes out and is standing with us. I go to him "Do you think our cameras caught what happened? May be of use." He replies that at night the cameras aren't that great BUT maybe caught something and he headed back inside to see. We stand out there a little longer, while the ems load her into the back of the ambulance and the cops start looking thru her purse (good they can find out who she is since she didnt appear awake). I decide to go inside to see if the cameras did catch what happened. My bestie follow me in. We go to the security office and ask if he sees anything. He goes "I had to watch it twice to make sure no time gap, but yes we got something. Watch." SO he plays the tape. Car goes by...nothing. Car goes by...nothing. You see Noone anywhere in the road area...third car comes speeding thru and BAM lady laying there. They threw her from the car. And where her head landed was our speed bump. They didn't bother to slow down or anything. Just threw her out! Its been a week now. No where in the papers has it been mentioned. No where on the news. No where on the police FB page. BUT we did find her. She is in a coma in the hospital, lucky to live. She was apparently overdosing from what has been said and the people in the vehicle didn't want to be involved. BUT they wanted to find her help. Yet they threw her from the car like trash, not caring. Causing more damage by her landing on the ground no protection head slamming the speed bump. The hospital has removed part of her skull to relieve pressure. She still having issues. Her ankle was broken in several spots and had to have surgery on it. They have her off breathing tubes today tho and she mostly breathing on her own. But no idea what damage has been done to her brain. Just saying massive brain trauma. Yet nothing in the news about her. I am mad about it. Like what happened to her didn't matter. Yet it is important to put that there have been vehicles broken into in the news. Like WTF. (Now I would love to post on FB about this but I am afraid that anything COULD cause issues with the investigation...but at same time why is her life not more important to talk about and report then stupid vehicles being broken into and minor crap being taken??? What is wrong with this town?!

: It is very possible that the police suppressed the news because they are still investigating the culprits? Did the police actually look at the footage of the security cameras? Maybe the victim is a protected witness? (I've run into those...you don't want to mess with a protected witness...talk about getting fogged over!) Perhaps the victims family is suppressing the story for privacy issues? There's a lot of reasons news doesn't get out there. The cynic In me says that such news doesn't sell newspapers in your town, (or air time) and so, didn't make it past the editor or program directors.

What the heck? Some friends there. You don't have to be "involved" in overdosing to help someone. She's in your car. Drive to the hospital or the police station or just about anything other than throw a semi-out of it person OUT THE FREAKING DOOR. Seriously. They probably high themselves. Hope that poor woman gets well and has help so she can live a better life with much better friends. :O

I ended up getting into Doctor Who a couple of seasons into it with the 10th Doctor (David Tennant). I also enjoyed the Classic Doctor Who of the ones I have seen. And sometimes it's just great for a good laugh watching the classic because it's amazing how far we've come with costuming and special effects. :D

The figments of my imagination are crazy and ping happy. XD Also those questions and answers about the Marzipan Room should be mentioned in The Pepper. Just saying.

Oh wow. That is weird nothing has been mentioned anywhere. Even if it was still an on going investigation you'd think they'd announce something somewhere to look out of the people who left her there like that!

They are saying they took the girl off the ventilator to breathe on her own. I fear that even when she wakes up that it isn't going to be good tho. I think her family thinks that she will wake being the same girl. The fact that she has been out for a week now I don't think that is a possible outcome. :(

I feel like even if physically she is the same someday you are right. Trauma like that plus whatever led her to try to overdose (if she really was) in the first place is going to permanently alter anyone. :( hopefully her family prepares for that and can help her.

I'm super lost on everything at this point. Between finals and pain and now being sick, I'm way behind haha. I saw your post about the incident with the lady and that is absolutely wild. I can't believe the news didn't say anything about it.
