Hello hello...Been fighting 2 fires that came close to our little town.Been washing clothes now that we have got them out... Wow this is a busy spot :P Hellllllloooooo!!!!!

I'm a bit....eh. I turned the apartment application in (actually, Dad had to, because I'm always working. Even then, it took him 2 days?) The apartment went to someone else, which I expected to happen, and Dad goes "You know, if you had turned it in sooner, you would have got it." .........COMPLETELY ignoring the fact that the day I got the application he reminded me that we were trying to keep the house and that I helped him pay the newly agreed upon mortgage amount like....last week. So if I got the apartment, what then? Why put me through helping to pay for a house, insisting it was better?

Plus, I work all the time. When I go home, there are times I just go straight to bed. Target isn't so bad, but Kohls....9 times out of 10 I am by myself in the home department. Home is freaking huge. Everything--Luggage, vacuums, kitchen, bath, bedroom, decor....all the bloody pillows, curtains, picture frames, seasonal items (like things for halloween, thanksgiving, Christmas, their small selection for Jewish holidays, and things like apple watches, fitbits, and basically all electronics.....that is ALL. ME. I spend the whole time not only trying to put things from customer service back on the floor but helping customers, answering calls from them and cashiers, and making sure the entire department looks respectable.

And these last two nights....the person that was supposed to be with me in said department did NOT show up. (She also likes to wear heels...often. I can appreciate cute shoes, but the only place a sales associate is required to wear heels is like....Bloomingdales, or a boutique on Fifth Avenue. You're moving around a lot on the sales floor, why kill your feet like that? The odd thing is....she has a husband. If she wants to ignore some of the people at work, like my fellow coworker in home that told her she might want to switch her shoes, fine, but you would think her spouse would tell her to go for comfort over cuteness sometimes or wear a pair of flats.)

Anywho....I guess my Dad's friend feels bad that I didn't get the apartment, because he said a smaller one just opened up in his building and he would like me to view it today or tomorrow. I would like to view it, and I do wish I was faster with sending the application but Dad pointing that out when he knew he didn't want me to get it and signed paperwork to keep the house and have me pay more than half is NOT fair. I kept silent about that little fact however, and didn't snap at him, hence why I had to type this out, because it is just.....boiling inside of me.

Also, MD is significantly worse. She insists she isn't sick, that she doesn't have a doctor anymore or medicine and refuses to talk to any of her family members. Not her sister in NJ, not the ones in Ghana, not the priest in Ghana that wanted to talk to her urgently (for all she knew, someone died. I have NO idea who that priest is or why he called, but he knows her, that's for sure.) and she barely wants to talk to her eldest daughter, either. She has also reached the point of talking to herself and doing that hyena-joker laugh. Also, the kitchne is getting plagued with bugs because MD likes to leave food literally EVERYWHERE, and the poisons aren't killing them. This is my only day off from both jobs and I feel physically and emotionally exhausted. I want to either cry (which I do NOT do. I'm okay with everyone in the world crying BUT me.) or just...walk out.

I think it's best that I go see the other department tomorrow, after work. Argh, this was long. Forgive me, loves. I think I'm....it may take me a few days to feel close to happy.

Lady You know what you must do! You need to turn that application in yourself. I think given the fact that your father wants you to stay there and help pay for the house on top of the fact he turned your application in two days late (if he turned it in at all) is pure sabotage! Good luck on the second apartment. I hope you get it if you like it :)

Finally got the Galactic skin! I'm sure pigs are flying right now. But, I'm sure I still won't get the Hydrus skin until the devil is skating his way to work.

Almost forgot to zap tonight Drawing is really distracting.

He did get the application, thank goodness, and thank you love huggles To be fair, the first time he tried to send it in the guy wasn't answering his phone and the second day was a massive rainstorm. (Not the whole day, mind you, but at least half of it.) But he kept undermining my wish to get a place instead of staying in the house. The house may seem better, but it has turned into a Tartarus for me and I'm barely there. I do hope I get the place, and thank you so much for your well-wishes and encouragement <3 Also, congrats on getting the scaly skin~

Can I have your skin? I've been using the zapper every year since they became a Wardrobe thing and it just won't ever let me get it.

Congrats on getting the galactic skin! I did not get the woad markings skin I wanted, but I got a lot of other cool ones.

Everything happens for a reason I suppose. Are you excited at least to be keeping the house? I always hate shopping, it takes me forever to find clothes and furnishings because I never like anything I find.

I'll also see if I can find a good pic of my hair so you can see what waves I am talking about. I use a few different shampoos for color treated hair and that don't contain sodium sulfate. My hair is actually really dry, that's why it's so frizzy. I have to put moisture back into it with Moroccan oil

I dunno what could stress her. We got her fish so she could watch "cat tv" but that's it, no other animals.

Don't give up hope, you will one day get the hydrus skin! I got the pretty woad--is it woad? Skin yesterday <3 But yes, it would be awesome to gifts skins.

I would say....yes and no. I like that I am living in an environment that I am used to and have so much space, but it is a lot of upkeep--a week or two ago the drain valve of the water heater overflowed and flooded the laundry room and half of the room next to it. There always seems to be a water-issue in this house and that is both expensive and stressful. When Dad goes back to Ghana I sure as Tartarus don't know how to fix all of that. Perhaps I would find the house a peaceful haven if MD wasn't there, but while I do have a list, thanks to the lovely J, of places that might take her, I'm pretty sure 1, I'll need Dad (and possibly the police) to convince her to leave and go there, and 2, they would only take her if she is medicated. She refuses to take her medication or see a doctor and her sister definitely doesn't want to take her in. The only place in the house I have relative peace is in my room and even then someone tries to bother me.

I would love to see your hair ^_^ Sulfate-free shampoos are always good. Have you tried Carol's Daughter? I used their Black Vanilla sulfate-free one and it was fantastic. Moroccan argan oil is a good product, but can be expensive. Then again, perhaps only the Oxy argan oil is expensive? Their entire line is certainly not cheap, and their oil is in a tiny bottle.
