It will have a single input (instead of the radio boxes) and it will be grayed out but have the number in it that says what amount it is. (Basically, a disabled input form)
I don't have any in my shop yet, I'll put one in there at some point so I can make sure I account for it.

-sobs tears of joy- There will be a retire button. I can get rid of things I'll never sell again. They will stop cluttering my life. all the virtual hugs
Also I cannot wait to help beta test the changes.
I like the check box for alerts being moved up. I can't visualize the text boxes for editing right now but I'll take a peek when I get home so I can familiarize myself with what you mean (I'm pretty sure I have an idea of it and if so, it makes perfect sense, I just can't look on mobile to confirm).
Also bless the change to how unlimited will work. That will be so much more convenient than how it is now (because sometimes I type it wrong and stuff doesn't go into the shop).
tl;dr I'm very excited for all of the proposed improvements and changes so far still.
Hope its ok to add to this as Im not a seller, but a buyer?
I am very guilty of buying 2 items by mistake, so this alone will be wonderful.
I love browsing CW's so being able to see new ones on one side will be fab.
I have always disliked that when I follow shops, they show up over and over on the 'feed' page when I refresh it, thats the main reason I stop following them, so that more shops that I didnt know existed get a chance to pop up.
Good luck Bug, and well done, I know many will be so excited by this.
Hi everyone and thank you for the encouragement so far :D Here is another progress update.
I've been working on the Browse/Search page to make it much easier for you to see what's currently available in shops, and find exactly what you are looking for. For one thing, the page will let you search by LAYER as well as the item name. Locked items will be excluded from this search by default, but you can click the checkbox to include them if you want. Here is a peek of what this page will look like:

The results are sorted newest to oldest, and if there are a lot of results it will be paginated so you can browse them all.
You asked about what the Manage Shop page looks like for limited-batch items. I initially answered that it would be a grayed-out input field. But as the code evolved, it ended up just being a number. Here's a peek at how it looks:

When you hover over the lock icon, it gives you the message explaining that the item is limited and you can't change the amount.
Finally, the feed has evolved a bit. When it comes to CWs, the overlays are what the items are all about, so with the revamp I would like to showcase the overlays where possible. Here's where the CW Feed has evolved:

I know there are concerns about whitespace, but the other version was super cramped-looking and forced you to hover to actually see what the items look like on your HA. I think it is better to show the overlays so you can see at a glance what the new items look like :) And it saves you time spent hovering over the items one-by-one and waiting for the hovers to load.
One more thing! See those "View in shop" links? I know that right now, you guys can link to a specific item in your shop by using the buy link. (That can get a bit dangerous..) In the revamped shops, you will be able to view a specific item in a shop with a specific URL. So there will be a safe way to link directly to a specific item in your shop, to save customers the trouble of searching through your categories and all that. I will have more details on this later :)

Yes that last bit about view in shop, I too had a problem at BF when I clicked a link to see an item and it bought it, The seller was lovely, and I felt bad, but usually it doesnt do that. Im glad that danger wont happen. Browsing new stuff ah...
I just want to cry with joy every time you show us an update on this. I'm so serious dude, I am so so excited for these changes and so grateful that you're revamping this aspect of the site to make it friendly to both buyers and sellers β€οΈ
Thank you so much for all you do. I really like the overlays being shown along with the CI for the feed.
I am so glad the issue of linking to buy a specific item is actually being worked on because I got really anxious when I found out (through staff) that one of my links pretty much forced some people to buy my item when they only wanted to look at my shop. I've seen other releasers give a link to purchase a specific item and it worked fine, but not for me. I was worried it was not being acknowledged, but I am relieved that a fix is on the way.
It's looking great!!!
Out of curiosity, what does the CW feed have a section to show all shops or shops you don't already follow?I'm thinking mainly from the point of view as someone who is looking at finding new shops to follow out of shops you aren't already following.
Also limited items look great! :)
The new feed pulls from all shops. The shops you follow appear on the right-hand column as quick links.

New Manage Categories page:

Editing the main shop text (for the Unsorted category) has been moved to this page instead of the Manage Shop page. There's a Preview button as well for your convenience :)
This will be the last update on this for the next few weeks, as I'll be busy with holiday stuff. It's super close to ready for beta testing though so I'm excited :D

-cries more- Okay but, not having to try and edit on the management general page is just...β€οΈ
And being able to preview before saving and not have to go back and forth is β€οΈ
flails
Yaaaaas~ Previews ftw!! I really can't wait to play with the new system * w*

I really love the work you put into this and that you are listening to feedback, THANK YOU 1000x TIMES <3
I was just wondering because a friend of mine who is not really familiar with CWs, she was really confused by where you can pay for a CW from a batch (this one) It's always been under Custom Wearables - Create CW and there is the link if you have a payment open or it's still not approved/batch paid. This is really confusing for newcomers as no one would think to look at Create CW for this, as you don't create it. Could this be at the top, an extra tab possibly?
Those pages are actually separate from the user cw shops (like they're on a separate part of the site entirely) I agree they should be integrated better and that the payment/create cw page itself could use an update.
If anyone has suggestions for an eventual revamp of this page, and how it could be integrated with the navigation on the CW shops, feel free to leave them here. It will definitely be addressed at some point :)

My problem with paying for CW's is that by the time I get the message to pay, Ive forgotten who I asked for it!
What Id love above all else is an easy way to see if its a limited/private item, could the star in the corner be red for private items?
I'm afraid that's not possible, as private CWs are not officially recognized or supported.

CW Suggestion Time!!!
Okay so, I think that the entire CW shebang should go under the Commerce Tab. Probably at the bottom.
Maybe just a thing that says Custom Wearables with the same kind of side-opening hover that the Your Shops or Forums has. I'd stick it at the bottom of the list (below the Your Shops one)
Within that, it could have links to the main cw page (the submission page), the uploads, the payments due, the item management page, the main cw shops feed page, and maybe manage your own cw shop? If it's not too much, also maybe the recolors page?
I think it would make it easy to navigate to all of the main pages related to CWs while also not adding a bunch of unnecessary clicking/guesswork and puts it in a spot that at least makes sense because it is a commerce related thing but wouldn't fit under Cash Shop because it's not...like...in the cash shop. I also think that makes it a lot easier than adding an entirely new tab up there for CWs specifically.
[edit] You can actually find that out! Right-click on the CI and choose view image.
You'll see the web address in your browser bar, it will look something like this:
https://img.subeta.net/custom/items/409958_45149.gif
The first set of numbers after items/ and before the _ symbol is the User ID of the submitter. If you take that and put it into a web address like the wishlists (http://subeta.net/wishlists.php/409958) it will open the submitter's list and you'll see their name (in this case it would take me to ' wishlist.
You can use this method on any cw that has been approved as well to see who submitted it!
I have a question concerning the newest CWs feed. Some days ago, I put some items in my shop for players to pick up so I had to lock them. Afterwards, I unlocked them. I noticed that they donΒ΄t show up in the newest CWs feed after unlocking. So every CW I first lock and then unlock will not be displayed, is that correct? Thank you so much for explaining! ^-^
