it was 35 years Oct.16th :D
We had a wonderful time.I didn't have time to worry about how big the ship was they rush you on & get you settled on the ship as fast as possible.I think they do that for the "chicken people" like me like me that see how big the ship is & don't want to get on it hahahaha 😉 They have so much planned for you,there is never a dull moment.I'll cruise again anytime :D I did get to see how big the ship was, when we got off in New Brunswick.It's big really,really big.But I went back on it & it didn't bother me at all :D The food OMGosh!! was fantastic.All the cruise staff were so nice & always there to help you out.
On the way back home we stopped at the Flight 93 museum.They did a wonderful job on that.They have a boulder marking the spot of the crash.The building tells all about what happened & the time table things happened on the whole day.From the towers getting hit by the plane,the Pentagon getting hit & the flight 93 plane crash on Sept.11th. They show where the people sat on the plane.What they did.They have phones you can pick up & listen to the calls the people made to their family & what they said, letting there families know they were on a Hi-jacked plane.It makes you want to cry hearing them =( sad,sad day.

It's so good to have you back ! Great to know you had such a nice time and enjoyed the cruise. I didn't know there was a memorial museum there for the people who lost their lives when the plane went down. Our granddaughter's ship was suppose to land there but it was when the storm was there so they weren't able to. Missed you!

I'm sorry My Friend for the late response,trying to catch up on my rest.Thank You nice to be back,Hugssss :D It was the last trip for our ship to cruise that way for the season.They were heading to Florida after we got off.The ship we were on is called "Serenade Of The Seas" I think I would Panic if we ran into storms at sea.We did have some sprinkles one day,but they stopped.
Yes,I heard the families where complaining because all that was there was a fence around the site.people put items in/along the fence like flowers, & other things.Nick was there in 2002 & the fence was still there.I found a video of the museum you may like. https://www.c-span.org/video/?413071-1/flight-93-national-memorial

Thank you for the video . The ship Kara is on is finished with their cruise Nov. 4th. They go as far as Cape Canaveral then are at sea again and land at New York. They will have four weeks off before their next cruise so we'll get to have an early Christmas with them. Looking forward to seeing them again.

Our other granddaughter, Kara's sister just got engaged. They plan to elope. No big wedding for them. They've been best friends for a couple of years. Neither like attention but they'll have a party in the spring. Hope we can go but we aren't much good at traveling anymore and she lives about a 1000 miles away. They're having a video made of the marriage for us. That will be nice. That's three down and one more granddaughter to see settled down with a great guy. Hope she finds him in our life time too. 😆
