What I've observed lately is that putting more stats into strength is eventually a futile endeavor(around 10k). You can only get so much regular damage per turn per thousand stats, and what you want is to crit for double(/triple/quadruple/quintuple) damage as often as possible, so putting the additional stats into speed to catch it up is better up to certain point.

Yeahhhh, my second pet isn't gonna get anything on this guy. I actually took 2 losses cause my blessings dropped and he stole my attacker.

Yeah, I spent all my SP savings from the past two-three years on weapons for my main battle pet. So now I'm severly lacking in lower tier blockers, and intelligence across all my little battlers. I'm planning to work on intelligence as soon as I get the Ether and Ornamented Hook Swords. I should have enough SP in the shop till, but too lazy to take it out now xD

I'll first try the pirates, and then go back to the Maliss Bopper. I'm pretty sure I should be able to squeeze some wins out somehow.

It'd make logical sense that freezing/stealing would be tied to it as well. I noticed El stealing a lot during my fights with Jac earlier today (using Twisted Keeper Focus). Freezing was decent at times too.

Tos has not yet tried Rita - congratulations on beating her with Masros. Haven't gotten to Vintage Prodigy yet either. After finally beating Maliss Bopper and catching up on pings I wound up eating and sleeping. Since the pirates leave well before Vintage Prodigy, I'm wondering if I should fight them first. Meanwhile, if you're fighting Maliss Bopper with Maskros you are going to need your RV back, so please let me know. I won't be around much tomorrow but will be here tonight and probably late tomorrow night as well. You're more than welcome to use my one Cobalt External during the weekend. Except for Maliss Bopper, I almost never use it anyway - mostly because I can never figure out which turn it will help me. :-)

- you're welcome. So excited that you and Cynde are able to complete Level 25 BQs now. You've really grown fast thanks to all your hard work. It really doesn't seem that long ago that we were seeing you post about not being quite able to battle yet due to the transfer - and look where you are now! I'm very impressed.

I've been surprised by several retired book prices. Also worth noting, is that the cost of many rare and super rare books seems to be low now (I try to restock and sell books) so there might be relatively inexpensive choices there too if you haven't already ready them all.

Tos finally did get her fifth win on Maliss Bopper - not even going to consider trying for any more. And if they would just stop throwing more limited time challengers up, I might get caught up. The pirates were announced within two minutes of Tos' last win. If I do ever finish the tough challengers with Tos, (and maybe Tharg who is very close to becoming T9 - yay!) then my other pets are too small to use an AoN. Meanwhile, it is possible that you can borrow one from someone whose pets are a little stronger than mine because they might finish sooner. And definitely keep up the training. And you can learn a lot on this thread too. Good Luck!

- Chili sounds really sweet. I know a cat that loves attention and thinks he is sort of like a dog. He belongs to local family and I just love to visit and pet and play with him.

- you're welcome. Usually you can't equp more than one of the same weapon - I did try. But there are a couple of exceptions out there - I remember seeing one mentioned somewhere once.

Yeah which is great for playing catch up! I'm going to be going through the list of books later comparing them to what he's read so far, so I can start checking more off the list. :)
