So I've been trying to get into the Blue Building. I've read that the password is a random event, but I've also read that you need to be on the Blue Building page because that's the only page it appears on. Is this true ? Should I be refreshing the page there or will it show up while I'm surfing the site ? Thanks in advance !

I don't know if it's how it's supposed to work, but this is how it worked for me: I didn't get a Blue Building password until I'd got all of the other requirements (forum posts, achievements, pet stats etc). Once I finally did have them, then I got the password just by clicking on the Blue Building in Centropolis (not the Quests widget).

most of us do refresh on the Blue Building page to get the password. others just randomly get it on their first or second visit.

i wonder if they changed that.. or, if it was always meant to be that way.. [like a trick, or something]

i believe i got mine while i was checking to see how many more tasks i still had to complete. I heard others having had to refresh a lot in the past, even after having completed the other requirements.

: When I just did this recently, I got it after a couple random drop-ins, and I definitely don't have all the requirements. Another thread said getting it is completely random, so just periodically drop in while you're doing other things and you should get it--the only question is 'when', because my sister had to try for months to get it. At least you don't have to remember it. :D

: You might! It's always helpful when it's nice. :) Even organized people are likely to lose a password for a minigame in another game! LOL! I guess that's why they decided to make it automatic for us.

it is true you don't hae to remember it. but it can be really helpful to know it, should anything happen to your account - like hacking, /knock on wood/

my memory is shit >.> so i wrote all my logins in an agenda that i always know where to find - it never leaves my side, lol, except when i go out. otherwise, my house is also messy u.u i hate cleaning -.-

: Even if someone hacked your account, how would that affect your Blue Building access? That's not normally something people would mess with when it's not all that valuable to hackers, is it? I would see them raiding your wardrobe or vault or something, but that...? Seems like a lot of work for very little gain for a hacker, but I guess I could be wrong.

Any of our passwords are kinda scattered wherever right now (probably not unpacked yet), so I'm quite happy to have something I DON'T have to remember. :D

if they hack your account and change the login data, and you want your account back, you'll be asked to give as many details as possible about the account. say, number of achievements, the first pet created, number of clothes, BB password, so on. You know, stuff only the real owner of the account would know.

or if somehow you simply forget your login data, without actually having been hacked.

I got mine from a random event when I wasn't on the BB page, and I hadn't met all the requirements (still haven't) It was a bumbus coming up to me and inviting me to the BB or something I think? But I don't think I did anything to trigger it, so I'm pretty sure it's 100% random. :(

since it's not mandatory, you have no reason to. i was only explaining a situation [the only one i can think of] in which knowing that one would be useful. and just because i wrote it down, doesn't make me better than you, and doesnt mean you have to do the same.

The Bumbus RE is actually completely different. It lets you do a quest for the Bumbus Queen to turn an existing pet into a Bumbus

Yeah, the Bumbus summoning you to the Blue Building event can show up anywhere, but it only unlocks a quest for Queen Bea, it doesn't have anything to do with your BB password. iirc the password event actually shows your password right in the RE text

I remember it how I do, and I know for certain that I didn't get the password from the Blue building.
