Howdy nut! Very exciting indeed, getting wl items, getting items I can trade for wl items and not having to stress about clicking the right item in the shop. How are you fairing? I am down from needing 86 items for frey to 25 so feeling pretty good knowing I still have 4 days lol!!

Same, I'd rather spend the extra sp instead of hours refreshing in freyalise! I wonder if there is a rarity cap for the mb like there is for vending :o

hi back! Everything's ok. My husband's monitor decided to conk out but we swapped it out for a different one so he's back to gaming :)

That makes me sad to know kids were mean to you! Kids were really cruel in school!! I had horrible acne in jr high and high school but for the most part I didn't care what others thought and I was always lucky enough to make friends with a few of the cool kids. (although I never was one)

I haven't worn an alligator item. I had to check my saved outfits. lol I did see that had a cute HA wearing one of these: Although, it may have been a different color.

IMO the problem with BB and Survivor is they've both gotten too formulamatic (is that a word?) and everyone seems to just re-use previous strategies that have worked. Let's hope Survivor is better this season!

And what really amazes me is now they don't teach cursive hand writing or how to tell time on a traditional clock. 😳 Thank you! Was mostly be silly when I made it. :-P

Mine is Arid Lifelike Qrykee Doll & I think they are similar to alligators or crocodiles but the paws are more flipper-like. I think they're maybe slightly more similar to a crocodile but it's hard to be sure based on the existing drawings...

I wasn't taught nonsense per se at school, but I did have some cases where teachers had out of date knowledge and taught things that had since been discovered to be inaccurate (Some of which I only learned later, but some of it I knew at the time - for example, when my 9th grade Earth Science teacher told the class, in the early 1980s, that Mercury had the same side always facing the sun, like the Moon does with Earth... was discovered sometime in the late 1960s that while it's tidally locked, it's not in a 1:1 ratio so it does have some rotation with respect to the sun after all).

My acne was not extreme but it was annoying enough - pimples nearly every week, some of them painful and infected - the braces hurt more though, as adolescent discomfort went. As for caring what others thought, I mostly didn't know what they thought, so while I suppose I cared, I couldn't tell? Anyway fortunately they never physically injured me in any way. But it was still upsetting especially when they ruined or lost my art works in art class, or when they put bugs in my locker or in my lunch. I also didn't really care for having all the bits of paper stuck to my hair.

I had friends at school in elementary school and middle school. In high school it was more a matter of friendly acquaintances, I suppose - I didn't manage to make any close friends in high school unfortunately, but there were other students who I got along with well enough.

I don't know what's wrong with the schools where you are now it sounds really frustrating though. I had a few issues with some of my son's teachers when he was in school, they also sometimes taught things I knew were wrong. For example one time his English teacher taught the kids that a play and an autobiography were novels. Novel specifically means book length prose fiction - a play isn't prose and an autobiography isn't fiction. I don't know where he got that confused but an English teacher should know better. But that was the exception rather than the rule - most of the information my son got from his teachers was accurate and helpful educationally. The trouble was more with the administrative confusion (especially in a specific case when they were unable to find immediate permanent replacements for teachers who left mid-year and my son was stuck with a different teacher each week for months on end, he didn't learn much in that class).

I suppose due to modern technology it isn't that useful to learn cursive writing or analog clocks, compared to other things they could be teaching. Especially the cursive - people will usually type things and when they do write, printing is fine.

nope, nothing like it, i still don't know how to read a clock quickly, lol. we had army time our high school, that was annoying

One of my main complaints while I was growing in a Christian household (not to sound offensive to anyone, but I don't claim to be a Christian now) was the huge differences taught in church and taught in school about things like how the earth came to be and evolution.

And yes I suppose the cursive and the analog clocks aren't really needed today...so are they teaching the kids coding now? Cause it would benefit everyone!
