PLUS I haven't done my "chores" for THREE DAYS! lol so today, I'm not going to be online long. I've GOT to do the dishes at least! hahahhaaaaaaa

i'm going to have to do TWO dishwasher loads, before the dishes are done! hahahaaaaaa

usually i can wait 3 days, and still barely have a load for the dishwasher, because it's just the hub and me.

remember when I said i went to the grocery store, and spent 300$ on stuff, that the man can never find for me. (seasonings and things for "special" recipes =tahini pastel, etc)

well. i've been wanting to try a "pad thai" recipe.

you've heard me complain that i don't have a 'chinese fast food' place around me (well. not a DECENT one)

so. some of the things that i made sure to get, was fish sauce (because most recipes require that)

so. i made a chorizo and shrimp dish (very disappointing) this week end. and i still have half a bag of shrimp. i need to use it. i think. GREAT i'lll make "Shrimp Pad Thai"

i'm SO Frustrated. I googled "what to use in replace....." so i'll try to make a subsitute with rice vinegar and brown sugar. but still it PISSES me off that i missed getting it. and i can't ask the hub to pick me up some.

1. he would have NO idea what i was asking for or WHERE to find it
2. it's hard enough getting him to stop and pick up 'reg' grocerys for me.
3. and PROBABLY the store doesn't even carry it! (even though i DID find tahini paste, and fish sauce!)

i DO have a LITTLE bit of 'veggie sauce' that i had made (with the leeks and zuchinni and yellow squash) i bet if i fixed up the tortellini i have left, that sauce and the shrimp, that would be DELISIOUS!!
