I'd like to become a better bass clarinetist.
i love that this topic is out there. there's so many things i want to learn and improve on during these free couple weeks i have to myself. i really want to improve on learning yoga positions, i know a couple but not enough as i'd like too. i want to pick up some type of creative activity, but i don't have a creative bone in my body, and i wonder if i could change that? i feel like every time i think "i'm bored" i reach for my phone rather than a book or something productive or progressive. love to know if you have any thoughts on this.
After years of half-heartedly faffing with it, I'm using the lockdown to really learn digital painting - I've been doing loads of practice, as well as watching quite a few youtube tutorials and taking a couple of online courses. I'm not where I want to be with it but I've definitely improved.
I'm constantly looking for more stuff to draw at the moment, so I may as well plug my freebie art thread, which is linked in my sig.

I want to learn to dance (decently lol) and I really want to learn to speak another language. I took Spanish in high school, but haven't used it much lol. My goal is to travel to a Spanish-speaking country and force myself to speak it. Then from there I would like learn Italian and Portuguese next since they are close to Spanish.

I'd really, really love to play guitar. I recently learned how to crochet, and make amigurumi. I'm loving it so far!
I would love to learn to make cold-processed soap and/or my own candles. It seems pretty straightforward, but I've never been overly good at artsy things so it's a little bit intimidating.
currently a 3D student, so I of course want to improve my 3D skills, but other than that I really want to:
I'm in the same boat with dancing and yoga. Practice makes habit though, we'll both get there!
Recently I've started getting into polymer clay sculpting. Atm I'm working on my first full sculpture which I'm intending to be a Wolf Link from twilight princess... I have just set up the skeleton and so far so good!
I've been in the process of starting on a Podcast lately. I'm working a lot of hours, however, so I don't have a ton of time for it. I've also started learning to shoot, with a bb gun of course (safety).
I would like to learn more about gardening, wine making with non-grape fruits, and making my own soy milk and soy yogurt as well as ginger beer for my girlfriend.
I also recently got myself a cheaper well reviewed art tablet, and I want to refine my art skills - as well as my general design skills and I was lucky enough to have access to and learn adobe suite basics at my current workplace when I was in the office as a sales rep (all the computers have Adobe Suite - we make custom sheet and roll labels and that includes printing when the customer wants it).
I'm kinda all over with the skills I want to learn and things I want to work on, but I'm doing the non food related ones when I have time. I'll be making a batch of watermelon wine once watermelons come into season as well.
bro i'm just vibing
I want to learn German and Latin. I'm slowly accomplishing this. Sometimes I'll get bored and just randomly want to know if an English word or phrase has a similar word or phrase in one of those languages.
I'd like to get better at piano ... I bought my full-size keyboard about 3 years ago, but hardly ever use it :/
I'd like to be better at drawing, too, but my sister is so good at art that I always feel bad when I try!
I go through periods where I practice drawing and become very good and then lose interest and regress. Right now I'm in the regression period and I'm started to get sick of my doodles, so I believe i will double-down again soon. I also want to become better at networking, for jobs and for computers.
I'd love to learn more urban styles of dance for sure. I'm an illustrator so dancing feels very much like drawing with your body and being able to recognize the shapes your body makes. Also interested in trying out more ambitious animation projects and gain the courage to try out 3D modeling.
I hopefully want to learn to draw someday! That and become a better writer. And maybe coding.
Skills that I want to learn but need more time or money or so on are:
Sewing Knitting Candle Making
And even though I can somewhat do it, I want to get better at drawing.

I desperately need to continue to code; I've gone so far down the data science route in my studies that anything other than python and r is slowly fading out of existence in my brain
I'm also heavily into drawing rn and I just saw a youtube video about recreating harry style's crocheted sweater and it looked rly cool so I must just dig out my crochet hooks from my garage soon haha
Also if anyone has tips on making/maintaining a sourdough starter pls lemme know! I'm desperately trying to make my boyfriend a loaf sometime soon <3
[font=verdana]art shopHmm I also wanna possibly improving my coding ...if anything though I wanna become more efficient at sewing haha. I also wanna become a better cook but I haven't had much time or money for groceries... nowadays it's just some humble meals for me! :D
I want to make plushies and fursuits one day, buuut the cheapest and most achievable one is just being happy with how I draw humans, honestly. ;~; they're so hard to stylize while still looking ok.
User since 2012, still not sure what I'm doing. [tot=Sample] // [flower=Sample]
I had the weirdest urge to learn how to make lampwork beads last night, and if that doesn't fade by the time I can find a class to take, hopefully that's going to be added to the list of weird crafting skills I've got under my belt!
