Glad they made it out in time and hope they stay safe

I am glad that everyone is ok with all those horrible storms at the moment. Had a very busy weekend at work, why is every weekend i work someone sick? Gives the person who are there more work and it's just way to busy.

Anyway it has been fall here since thursday. Non stop rain and cold. But today is a good day (shame i was stuck at work most of the day), sun and 19 degrees celcius, lovely!!!

, ((((((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))))))))) ❤ it's so great to hear that your mom, sister and her boyfriend are out and safe from the hurricane. I have a niece, her husband, their son and daughter's families living in Florida. The last I heard from my niece she said she and her husband were as ready as they could be to wait it out and weren't in the path of it. Her daughter and family had moved in with them. Her son and his family were not in the path of the storm either. So I continue to pray they're all safe. I sure can't tell by the news and the map the t.v. shows that they're safe. But everything always looks worse on the news so I'm trying not to worry.

In church this morning, we had a video to watch that a couple had sent back to us. They went to Texas to help out a friend whose house had to be gutted and rebuilt inside. It was a neighborhood of big, beautiful homes and all of their possession out on the lawn to be picked up and disposed of. Just so overwhelming. We just had our basement and garage flooded 20 years ago and that was bad enough. It was finished and furnished so there was a lot of furniture, appliances, etc. that had to go but we could still live here. Neighbors and friends were wonderful. Our daughter organized everyone and they had it all cleared out, taken away and the basement floor cleaned and bleached in a day. Still took a while for my husband to take out the walls and refinish it. After that the city put in big dikes so hopefully that will not happen again. Sure brings back bad memories when I see floods other places.

There are 150 fires going on and have been for months in our province right now. We finally got a rain yesterday and the air smelled fresh this morning. We're getting smoke back again clouding the mountains now. We also had a house burn down 25 years ago in another place we lived. Praying that doesn't happen again. The fires are getting closer to us now but still a hundred miles away. What a summer it's been!

Well no hurricane here but a fall storm. Wow what a wind and rain. I had a hard time getting trough the winds to work and home.

Lucky we had better weather yesterday as our clients had a boat trip, i went along and boy i was tired when i got home yesterday. 10,5 hours at work but was worth it.

Bought new plates and glasses last month. 1 plate was broken en 2 glasses to. Went back to the store and got new ones,

Then to another store as i was wearing new jeans and they tore, i had a big hole yesterday morning at my behind while working (changed clothes). The store manager was not very friendly very rude. But i got new jeans but i am filing a complaint it was treated very badly.

you Nicole. My relatives are well and had no damage to their homes. One is a first responder and lives in Jacksonville so he's understandably very tired. So thankful they are all okay. Get some good sleep and rested up on the weekend. Watched the woman across the street wrestle her two little ones in the car while they would rather kick their backpacks around and I'm exhausted just watching them. God bless all teachers!
