It's 11:27 and we're behind again... but I went to bed around this time last night and we were behind, and when I checked this morning I was surprised to see we'd hit the daily goal.

alright, time to put on some sweet tunes and finish my quests before i start fighting for 5m damage against the big guy. gotta do it for for kain for that sweet loot 💪 ✨

i know the total has dropped a bit, but please continue to do your best, and don't lose hope! it's only wednesday, we've got a long road ahead still, and we should see activity peak on the weekend~ we can still do this! :)

Hmm, wondering if it's even worth bothering to quest now the battle event has been announced. (why, why on earth would that be done in the middle of the questathon????)

So many people not doing quests because they want to battle instead....questing seems pointless, we would struggle to hit the target as it is.

Have to admit I'm pretty bummed, I really wanted a pet slot. Totally disheartened right now :(

I feel exactly the same way. I think starting the battle event will totally kill the questathon. All of the battlers will go for the battle loot. I want it too, but even with a decent battle pet, it would take me 2k battles to hit 5m, so I'm out. I'll focus on the quests, but I fear the worst... :/

- it really is very disappointing, and rather mind boggling of staff to run two events at once. I do not understand the logic of that at all.

Don't get me wrong, i love to battle, and have a reasonable tier 12 battle pet - but I can't do both...not got the time or energy.

I guess we'll just have to hope enough people carry on questing :o

seconding what said, this battle event was really poorly timed :c i got 20k damage and would have to battle 9k times to reach 5 mil so i'm not even gonna try

i'll still do all my quests (including going through the hassle of trading off my sp to do sarah's) because i really want that pet slot, but it would suck if a lot of people decide to battle instead q n q

Toiling on. But I'm also skeptical what this boss battle thing will do to the Quest-a-thon.

This really is a bad timing for the battle event :/
I'll keep focusing on questing since it's impossible to reach 5mil damage with my pets anyway but I figure lots of people will put battling first >__<

Phew, all done for today. I might as well do a little battlling after all, at least I'll get something out of it.

Welp, I guess its good I didn't have any major plans for the pet slot. I don't know how setting the Quest-a-thon up for failure is supposed to be good or benefit the site.

Of course I'll keep doing all quests anyways, just in case.

all done for another day (as well as an Oracle quest too, although i know hers don't count). i cut my battling short to focus on this because i just don't have time for both. sucky timing subetateam :( i wanna do both but i gotta sleeeeep!!

I had the same thought ... they know how people are about the gelatin wars, why would they start it in the middle of a quest-a-thon? It doesn't make any sense unless they wanted to set us up for failure, which I don't like to believe. I'm not even a serious battler and I still found myself poking away at minigels instead of questing, and I was like WAIT WHAT ARE YOU DOING and went back to my quests lol. Everything's done now, though!

Plugging everything at the same time is surely one recipe for absolute success. I've been trying to quest but I hardly have any motivation (at least I try to do them) and time with college. And now the war? Sorry but it's time that I do not have q___q'

I've been alternating between questing and battling the Hydragellos myself. I do a set of 15 quests, then battle until I do 100k with my t13 pet and terrible weapons lol, and then I do another 15 quests. I've got another 45 quests to do tonight, am just about to start the next 15. I really hope we can make it, I want that pet slot ;; I'm kind of getting the impression that there might've been a sort of rush to get everything done before school starts up for most people ?_? But I dunno.

quests are done for the day except sarah; just grinding away at the minis in-between tasks while i wait for reset... can i get a kind soul to take my on-hand cash and buy something from my shop with it? i'm as close to the last shop till achievement as i've ever been and if i miss it this time i'll probably never make it lmao thanks, !

They've had all summer for this though. Cramming everything into the last week or so in August just looks like bad planning, just the sort of cramming you would see form students for finals/projects. Everybody recommends against that too.
