Aw. I really liked the way the previous design looked. Now it's just like, cramped things in the corner with a bunch of white space 2.0. Now with a scrollbar on the whole page if you wear more than like 10 items.
SPOILER (click to toggle)
I noticed while I was manually deleting items off my worn HA one by one, it suddenly gains its own scrollbar (preferrable) but then disappears again as I delete more items.
SPOILER (click to toggle)
edit: I guess its because of my screen dimensions so it's just me but okay... I agree with
As for your other notes: I'm unsure about the bold text; mainly I wanted to distinguish it from the text that states what layer it is. What I'm thinking is that I could make those regular text, and make the layer text italicized, maybe? I think that would be better for everyone. I'd like a little more input from other players before making this change.
The 3 columns is because: 1 column for the layers, 1 column for the HA previews and item information, 1 column for the "page" you are on (items/base/shared outfits/etc). The problem with the previous iteration was that the layers list was so small; It was determined that this should remain full height. FWIW the page shrinks to 2 columns and then single-column on smaller screens. (But I'm wondering if some of the responsiveness is broken for you specifically, since you are having the issues with the scrollbars.)
I've mentioned in previous posts that the first thing you mention is something I'm already planning to do.
As for the other thing, there's other stuff that will eventually go in the item details, such as colors, the item image (maybe other details too...) and eventually options to categorize into drawers etc. So it does need that space.
As mentioned before, this will be addressed later, as well as the other pages in the wardrobe, like the hair salon and skins. My focus thus far has been on the main items screen.

Aww, bummer. Thanks for checking. I hope at least it was an easy thing to check!
Keep up the good work!!
bird and bear and hare and fish give my love her fondest wish
That's what I figured when my friend said they weren't having problems. xD Damn Mac making my Subeta life difficult. lol Here are two screenshots for you, though! Screenshot 1 & Screenshot 2. Screenshot one is just the page itself and then in screenshot 2 I scrolled all the way to the bottom of the page so you could see that as well.
Oooh, I definitely like that!! :) I totally understand not wanting to change it until you get more input, though! xD
Ahhh, That makes sense now that you map it all out! I definitely wasn't mentally mapping out the breakdown correctly in my head and I was like but whhhyyy. Well, whatever the issue is, I really appreciate you looking into it!! ;w; It's much appreciated! Hopefully, the screenshots will be of some help.
~ CW Group ✰ CW Releasing Thread ✰ My CS ✰ CW Wishes ~safari 10.2.1 on a 2880x1800 display over here - https://imgur.com/a/rIMLs i'm uh, comforted to know that the full page scroll is not supposed to be a thing, but fwiw it does change with smaller widths for me.
edit - also i think said the scrollbar came back when removing items? the scrollbar doesn't come back for me when removing items.
I too dislike the very, very dark text on the page. It's not so much the font weight as the color. I also preferred the previous layout, really not a fan of this one.

The color is just black. I don't think it makes sense for it be any other color. I think changing the font weight will definitely help it seem lighter to the eyes. But if you have suggestions for a color alternative that might work better, feel free.
What don't you like about this layer? Why did you prefer the previous layout?
(I really don't mind negative criticism, but just stating your dislike of changes doesn't tell me what to improve. It just makes me feel bad.)

The layer dragging totally works for me now, thank you! However now I have a different problem. Sometimes when I drag a certain wearable, it will duplicate every time I try to move it. I ended up with like 5 of the same pair of pants showing up in my layers (though it looked like there was only one on the actual HA).
I just saved, closed and re-opened the outfit and I was able to delete all the extra pairs of pants but it was super weird because I wasn't sure which pants I was actually wearing.
...did that make any sense? I have no idea if it did sorry x.x
.: draco dormiens nunquam titillandus :.
ah sorry I didn't mean to make you feel bad. Warrior wrote it far more elegantly than I can x) I know most people would consider the font color minor but I personally prefer to hover colors around or a little lower when against completely white backgrounds to remove high contrast. The columns make the page feel unbalanced and awkward to navigate. You only use the center column while building an outfit for two things, saving and previewing. It doesn't make sense for it to take up such a large portion of the page, or sit where you have to move your mouse over it between two areas where you're interacting with the wardrobe the most - the items and layering. This also affects other areas of the wardrobe by giving space to the large middle column, making the saved outfits, salon and base editing tabs feel squashed.

So this was just posted about, but from the last time I went into the wardrobe (day or three ago), to today, dragging an item down to the bottom of the list, the list does not scroll. I have to drop the item as far down as I can, and then scroll the page down and finish dragging. Also Mac, also Safari.
With all these wardrobe changes, this is legitimately the first time I've had any issue whatsoever. Spoilers cuz huge images.
SPOILER (click to toggle)
As you can see, using the ghost buddy item, dragging it down results in it brining up my Dock, instead of continuing down like it used to.

Second shot to show where I had to drop, and the scrolling of the page.
Yeah, so far all of the reports have been on Mac/Safari so I'm pretty sure it's that specific platform that is having trouble with this. I'll be checking on it for sure, as it's definitely important to fix.
FWIW the page is NOT supposed to scroll. The layers list is supposed to be full height and scroll when it reaches the full screen height. So it's not an intentional design decision, it's a compatibility glitch D:
For anyone else with this problem, there's no need to keep reporting it - I'm aware of the issue and working to get a fix out asap. Thanks!
Thanks for elaborating :)
Unfortunately a lot of those things are places where we have to compromise - It can't be perfect on every screen, in order for it to work on all screens. I'll keep shuffling widths around to see if I can make the proportions better... But every time I change the width, I literally start from a wide screen and then slowly decrease the width/screen size down to cell phone size to try and make sure it is usable on every device.
As for the font color, I'll do some research on making it accessible - both not too much contrast, but also not too little. The UI and colors are based off Bootstrap defaults, however, and I really trust them as far as those things go.

Thanks. I only added my experience since it seemed like it was fixed for someone else, but I could have read something wrong. There's a lot to go through in here!
Are the little check boxes coming back at some point?
The check boxes have been replaced with an icon that has the same functionality.

about the full page scrollbar, I'm on firefox 55.0.3, windows 7. I hope that can help you solve it :O
about the layout itself, I just think the previous design utilized space better. These columns feel very disjointed and awkward to use with a lot of empty space. And I prefer having my wardrobe items list wider than it is now. It just feels so squished with the avatar and preview avatar taking up an unnecessary amount of space. But if beauty is sacrificed for functionality on all screens then I'll have to deal with that.
However maybe if the fullpage scroll can be resolved, and the worn item list is contained to an area that lines up with the bottom of the wardrobe items, maybe it won't look as bad.
Not meaning to be rude just to be clear as possible. Thanks again for your work :D
Wow...I figured out that they showed what was in your wardrobe but I didn't realize you could click them..now I feel silly...Thank you!
By the previous design, do you mean the one where the HA previews were above the layers list, or the one before that?
One reason the center column is wider is because the item previews are now next to instead of underneath the HA previews. There will also be additional content added beneath that in the future (in the Item Details box) so it will take up some of the now-empty space.

Yes, I mean the very previous design that you put together, where the HA previews were above the worn items list. :D For me there's a lot of white empty space on either side of the two avatars, between the other columns. For my screen the filter/items area could stand to be wider and reduce the width that the avatar's column takes up. But I have no knowledge about this stuff so if that's counterproductive to it being responsive to other screen sizes then my bad lol
Hiii :D I'm sorry to bother you but is it possible to make it so that the "search shops" item doesn't change to the item last hovered? Is it possible to go back to when it stayed on the item last clicked on? n_n;;
* * * my wislist
Yes :)
I'm afraid the consensus was that most people preferred the layers list to be full-height, so that will have to stay.
