They used to have it so that if you hovered over someone's HA on the forums, it would show their tree. But I don't think it's been like that for a few years now, and I don't know if there are any plans to bring that back with the new forums and HAs or whatever.

But anyway, the tree and the HA are separate so it shouldn't matter if you wear a background or something.

huh, that's, i guess, unfortunate. i'm so sure it was a thing as recent as last luminaire, too. i can quite vividly recall the trees en masse on the forums, and tracking the gift pile of my own etc. oh well. alright then.

Forum search is off right now, so I'm not sure if this has been mentioned, and it's more of an inconsistency than a straight up bug.

When creating a drawer, there is a hard coded limit of 15 characters. The rename interface imposes no such restriction. If there's a restriction on one process it should apply to the other. That's it for the actual report. What follows is me caring just a little bit too much about drawer names...

I'd like to make a case for 15 characters not being quite enough. I'm guessing the limit is for UI purposes (aka keeping the dropdowns tidy). In light of this, I tested lengths of 20, 25, 30, and 40 characters, and I'd say that 25 characters seems like a more reasonable limit within the interface. I wonder how people who regularly use a phone or smaller tablet feel, but I tested both with a maximized browser window and one that was set small enough that there's almost no way a person would struggle with navigating the site at that size, with all parts of the UI sort of smooshed on top of each other.

At 25 characters the interface did not look appreciably different to me than 15. 30 was okay as long as I had my window maximized, and 40 was when I said too much is too much. 25 characters also accommodates my longest drawer names, not coincidentally.

In the actual Wardrobe interface, as opposed to the organization and drawer management pages, the length of the drawer name doesn't seem to make a difference until I open the dropdown. I don't know if that's just in Chrome, but when the dropdown is not open, no matter how long my drawer name was, the interface didn't stretch. When it was open, only the list of drawer names was big; nothing moved around to accommodate this.

While I'm talking consistency across the site, Wishlist categories don't appear to have a character limit, and shop/gallery categories seem to be locked to 50 and Vault categories to 20. If I'm forgetting somewhere else we can organize our stuff, I apologize. Also, I know the interface for those pages are different--mentioning those other limits is more to highlight that 15 characters is pretty small by comparison.

As a concession, I could probably make 15 characters work, while retaining meaningful drawer names that weren't too abbreviated to read IF I wasn't using numbers to alphabetize/sort. To use numbers, you need at least two characters (or less than 10 drawers...) but it's three if you want a space for legibility, and I have horrible eyes so I actually need a space, a dash, and another space to separate the number from the name.... with 15 characters that's a third of my space right there. So right now I'm using the workaround of creating and then renaming, but I dislike using a workaround that might get fixed at any moment...

I've been having an issue for the last week or so with my wardrobe (I hope I'm posting in the right place), where if I click on "items you own" no items show up in my layers. So, I can no longer make HAs because trying to figure out what I own or not in all of the items is just too much work. Is this a known issue? Did I break something? xD

Try changing your "drawer" option to a drawer, and then changing it back to "all"

my wardrobe just flat out busted I can't do anything in the tabs I had just put together my outfit for the winter and was trying to save it but I'm not sure it did and nowz it isn't loading anything outfits, base, hair, items, absolutely nothing I even closed out of my browser thinking that might have been the problem but when I reloaded the page it was stillz acting up so idk what to do and when I hit the put back to default it gave me a girl body type when the last one I used was a male body type so ya that is totally wrong

I'm not sure what to do to fix this but this is a huge problem no matter how many times I refreshed the problem wouldn't correct itself T~T

Am I the only one not seeing most avatars? I just want to make sure its not on my end

The site has been having some issues today, and now it seems avatars are having a problem as well. I'm also not able to load anything in the wardrobe currently, but they are aware of the problems so all we can do is hope it gets fixed soon.

I only see my own avie and no one elses so it isn't just you on that as for my suffering please be nice this wasn't my idea I was trying to save my winter outfit and found out 2 min too late that the wardrobe was busted so ya my bad judgement cost me my avie :(

it's ok luckily I remember all of the items I used for the avie so I can put it back together once the wardrobe is fixed again :)

I don't know if this is a bug or not. Under Items there's an Only Show Items You Own checkbox. Does it default unchecked?

Because I'm finding it unchecked and I'm sure I didn't do that. Making avatars with completely unavailable CWs has little amusement value to me.so I always think I've got it checked. It the unchecking of it related to browser cache and cookies, so if I have an unrelated problem somesite else ?

I've been having a problem with my wardrobe. I can't get it to load my items. It keeps telling me that it's loading them but never does. I'm using the latest edition of OPERA but I don't have this problem in the latest edition of FIREFOX. Hope this helps.

EDIT: I've updated my HA in Firefox by clicking the wear now button and what I put on my HA in Firefox shows up on my HA in opera but I'm still having problems loading items.

Loading items in the wardrobe is a problem during the last week, it loads in the end yet it lasts for a long time until all items are up. (Only reporting, not complaining! ^-^)

May I ask a question, please, concerning Shared Avatars? Would it perhaps be possible to give us categories for storing outfits? I would love to have the possibility to store event outfits so I find them much quicker and HAs I did for contests so I won´t double them.Haven´t to be much categories, perhaps 4 for seasonal HAs and around 10 for events and some to think about so perhaps 20?
