Anybody know how many drawers we can have? I think the old limit was 20. I have 20 now but need 3 more, so just wondering if the drawer number would be increased.
CWs for Sale or Trade https://subeta.net/user_shops.php/shop/24266
Oof, having the items under the avatar is such a huge pain. The scroll box is excessively large and annoying while still making it hard to mess with layering on my screen.
Okay so, my job for SubetaLodge is to add the new CWs to the site. I bring this up because the new layout makes adding them much more work for me. The placement of the 'search shop' portion, the excessive scrolling in the items box, the odd width of the items shown per page (it's suddenly increased the number that fit per row). I'm aware that I'm only one person and thus cannot be catered to, but it feels like a lot of these changes are things that were already addressed in old feedback threads where countless users had approved the previous layout as the best option.
Overall, the current layout/appearance feels odd and clunky to me.
I do appreciate that searching is now not an auto-grab as you type but requires you to click the search button (it seems much faster as a result). I also like that I don't have to click a 'filters' button anymore to see the filtering options.
I'm also not too keen on the placement/wording of the Wear Now/Save to Shared Outfit buttons. I think they were better when they were beneath the HA and smaller - Keith spent a lot of time discussing that with folks and decided Wear and Save were the best choices for those button names and placement. Now they're unevenly sized and serve to push things down even further instead of being unobtrusively placed.
There were 3 wardrobe testing/feedback threads that discussed a lot of these placement/naming changes in depth before now and the layout we had was the one that worked the best for the vast majority of users while having the least amount of scrolling.
[edit]
On a functional note, on the Organize page, if I change the drawer filter from "All Items" to "Not Sorted" it breaks the page. It just loads endlessly. I can change any/all of the other filters with no trouble. It loads the other drawers just fine. It just will not show me only the items not currently sorted into drawers.
Do you have any links to the older feedback/testing threads? Those would definitely be useful, and no one has mentioned them to me before.
What we have now is a work in progress, and it may be that it ends up looking similar to the old layout on desktop. I'm certainly open to that if it's the best layout tried-and-true :) However, I will not just go back to the old layout, because there are a lot of changes I need to make to the front-end both in its logic and to make it more responsive/mobile-friendly. The old layout had a lot of implementation issues that I'm gradually resolving.
As for your job with Subetalodge, as you mentioned, we can't change it for a single user's job. But uh... this url will actually list the most recent 500 CWs with complete item data, in order of recent first, in JSON format. The information you are looking for should be easy to scrape from there :)

It actually isn't really realistic for me to use that data. I don't want to undo what's been done or keep continuously re-adding things to the site and creating strain while it tries to only add the new items.
I can use the wishlist page source format just fine, but the positioning of everything makes that far more time consuming and awkward than it was prior to these changes. It also makes it more time consuming to try and adjust my HA (scrolling when you're trying to drag items to a different position is not good - it's why the list ended up the way it was, to reduce trouble during that).
Public Testing/Feedback Thread
I'm kind of surprised that you didn't know anything about these prior to starting to mess around in the wardrobe. The Testers one most especially, as that's how Keith generally sets up new features/changes - he builds on the mirror site so things don't go wrong on here when changes are implemented, and then has us run some testing for him.
Thank you for the links! I'll give them a look :)
I agree about the layers. I'd like to make them full-height again somehow, but also responsive (so that it can stretch to full height when it's able to)

I need to report a bug (or maybe appeal for the reinstatement of a previously-there feature): there is no confirmation for deleting drawers! I misclicked and hit the red button instead of the rename box ... now all my jeans, leggings, long shorts, pants, skinnies, slacks, tights and trousers are strewn everywhere.

There is a confirmation for deleting drawers, and it appears to be working fine still. Are you sure you didn't disable confirmations in your browser, or click OK on it/hit enter accidentally?

: I wish to report that I am an idiot. Turns out I didn't delete the drawer; I accidentally renamed it to "" (blank no name) and then panicked when I couldn't find a drawer named "trousers".

This may not be a .., but it's a problem. The new search shops button at the top of wardrobe shows up even when you already own the item. Quite a nuisance. Also, having the avatar image above the items wearing display makes it very difficult to rearrange layers, as it only leaves enough room to show seven items at a time.
So I believe this next suggestion would make the mobile wardrobe a lot easier to use for almost everyone who uses it.

As you tap an item, the button to bring you to shop search pops up. I suggest that when you tap on an item currently selected (tapping on the icons that move the order of the items being worn) to be worn on your HA that there is a second button to remove it from the HA instead of being forced to go back to a specific layer and tapping the item again to unselect it.
If this is feasible, great! If not, then I understand. There is just no [x] to remove items on mobile like there is on desktop. Thank you for reading <3
Oh lol... Hey, mistakes happen. But that makes me think, that I should maybe add a check for blank renames, since those are probably never done on purpose. Could save someone from running into the same mistake!
Both will be fixed soon. Be sure to check the first post for updates.
[] Ah, I had that originally but removed it after people said it was redundant. I think it would be great to have that button back but only show up on mobile.
I looked through the threads you linked, thank you! To clarify, I didn't see the specific GA testing threads yet, wasn't sure which other one you meant at first. I have seen and read through the public testing one already.
Regarding the Wear/Save distinction - I didn't see this mentioned that much in the old threads. I saw it mentioned briefly here as an alternative to the original Save/Share. There were many pages to look through so maybe there was more discussion that I missed, since you said "Keith spent a lot of time discussing that" and I only found those few posts.
I think you'll be happy to know I am returning the layers list to full height :) And that the overlay preview will remain side-by-side with the HA preview when that happens.
A lot of my changes so far have been addressing common complaints in the past few months, in particular troubles with the auto-searching, and drawers not being fully integrated. I'm aware of the reasoning that went into the prior layout and I do take it into account.

It's possible it was on an older iteration of the testers forum that's gone now.
I do appreciate the work you putting in to get the wardrobe functioning well. I especially love the addition of a button to search within the wardrobe, as the auto search function was definitely not working effectively. I also really like that I don't have to click the filters spoiler type thing anymore to see which filters I'm using.
First time using the wardrobe on my laptop for me, and I currently can't rearrange items. If I decide I want something layered underneath something else, I have to remove all items above the item I want layered and add them in again. I also can't use any face items since I'm unable to drag the default stuff below the base layer. Using Firefox on Windows 10.
I can drag things fine on my iPad, but then have the problem others have mentioned of no scroll-bar on the items wearing box so layering becomes a little annoying after a certain amount of items.
hey i use google chrome Version 61.0.3163.79 (Official Build) (64-bit) and since you updated the wardrobe i can no longer bring up items in my wardrobe. if i click "only show items i own" all i see is the loading Items... screen forever. my items never load. I've deleted cookies etc and restarted my pc and browser several times
When did you start having this problem? I only updated the interface recently, not the back-end or how it is called.
