I think all of the help will be more informal. Like if there is a challenge, the champion can come consult with their schoolmates on possible strategies or advice. The champion would still have to submit the answer/RP but all of us could help with ideas and such. I doubt we need to be very rigid about it - my advice would be that unless time is of the essence, wait until as close to the deadline as possible to submit things so there is time for everyone who is able to participate/help.

In any case, I like the idea of having resources ready, but usually timelines are fair and we will have time to put things together once we know what we're up against. c: But I would never want to stand in the way of someone being prepared, so I'm all for a resource topic with links and whatnot. :D

Anyone else in Hogwarts, don't be discouraged if you are still interested in putting your character forward! I don't think we're running this as "first come, first served" - more like seeing what the interest level is like and then going from there before we submit our final list to for the Goblet of Fire. :D

ah thanks for the mention! I was aware of the topic but forgot to post - oops! Though I'd love to be a champion for Hogwarts, I'm really very new to both this group and to roleplaying and my work schedule can be erratic: I don't want to put myself forward for something that I can't fully commit myself to! I also feel that there are some really talented nominees already!

I'm also very happy to have the opportunity to support the selected champion where possible too!

That makes a lot of sense. I think I'm accustomed to puzzle challenges and time limits. I don't know if you're familiar with the Premium Survivor group but we did a lot of that stuff back in the day lol Sorry if I came off as too intense, definitely not my intention. :)

I'm not that strong a roleplayer (out of practice mostly) so I'll leave the role of potential champion to someone else. Thanks for the heads up though! Unfortunately I haven't been as active here and on Subeta as I'd like to be, so I keep forgetting to finish up my character bio. I'll try to get to that in time for the tournament start though.
