My recommendation for summer reading is the Monster Blood Tattoo series. Think: Harry Potter meets Bartimaeus Trilogy, with Steampunk and Faeries.

My favorite book is Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty. Everything else she wrote is wonderful, too. It's a mystery with absolutely fantastic character building. Be sure to check content warnings if you need any, though! The characters go through some tough stuff. As for a favorite summer album, my favorite ANY TIME album is Siren Song of the Counter Culture by Rise Against. I find it relaxing because I love getting lost in the music.

The Jack Ryan series of books by Tom Clancy. Starting with "The Hunt For Red October".

I am really bad a narrowing down favorites or recommendations. The Lunar Chronicles series by Marissa Meyer is pretty good and not too dense for summer reading. Enjoy your summer.

I love your recommendation, I saw Kishi Bashi at Athfest about a year ago, what a great act! The banjo player has LED lights in his banjo, and half of the time he uses it like a drum. Very cool!

My favorite summertime relaxation music would be a pretty close tie between AM-Boy's Horrible Oracle Blessedness or Vampire Weekend's Vampire Weekend (self-titled, but really good! :p)

I recomend Omnia's Alive Album. They are a very lively band and it's a live record from one of their gigs at a festival. And music festivals are very summery to me.

At the risk of dating myself here, one of my favorite albums to throw on in the summer remains Duran Duran's Rio. it's just light and boppy and fun.

Summer listening has to be anything by Kaleo tbh~

I'll recommend the book The Best of All Possible Worlds by Karen Lord. It's a fun adventure on an alien planet meeting all sorts of interesting characters and finding out about their families and cultures. It's good for summer because it's upbeat and sunny in outlook, along with mostly good weather in the story :)

My summer reading book I recommend Is The TommyKnockers by Stephen King

My favorite book ever might Aristole and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe. It's one of those books that people wants a sequel for, but considering the time period its set in, you don't really want one.
