yes it is ..... I am older now but when i was really young in my early twenties I didn't follow that rule and did some crazy shit back then.... now that I am older I look back at those times and wonder how did I live through that .... that was the 80's ... in 96' my wife's older brother who is the same age as me and we were friends throughout high school and after he was killed by a drunk driver walking across the road when he lived in Texas the man that hit him just thought he had hit a dog and just kept going and after they caught the man that did it nothing happened he didn't even go to jail ... they made it sound like it was her brothers fault for walking across the street when a drunk driver was coming ....

~ I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
thank you I hope u all do to.... I am going to visit my mom in Chicago haven't seen her in two years or anyone else in my family so I am excited

~ Sounds wonderful! Have fun and be safe on your travels :)
I will and thank you

then I wish you an every happier weekend! It is always great to spend time with people who love you unconditionally .. over the years it would be two to three years between visits with family for me also ... now I am lucky in that I get to see them much more often.
they all live in Chicago and I moved away to the country in Kentucky 400 miles south where it is nice and quiet in a wooded area with no traffic or neighbors .... at least not right there where I can see into there house they are a lot further then that lol and I love it here

I love the country for vacations but I am a city girl myself.
I grew up in the city for a long time when I moved here it was a culture shock to my system but once I got used to it I won't go back and live in the city no matter what

- that is what is so great about America - we are a huge country with something for everyone. When I say city I don't mean New York, San Francisco etc. I guess town living would be more like my taste .... where people talk to their neighbors and get each others mail when they go on vacation and watch each others pets stuff like that.
oh I gotcha thats how it is the town that is like 15 miles from where I live I just really have enjoyed where I live I am 5 miles from Kentucky Lake so I can fish whenever I want and the lake extends the through the whole state and into Tennessee plus we get all kinds of animals in our yard at night mostly deer every now and then some wild turkeys will walk through the property

where you live sounds lovely and I am sure I would enjoy that also.
I am going to do my quests now perhaps we will talk again soon.
ok hope you get nice stuff from your quest today

Oh my God, that is the worst. That drunk driver must have been related to someone on the force.
Bravo! I agree!
If your going to drink and you dont want your parents to know. Also this includes adults out there drinking. Think about this, what would be more devastating to a parent, spouse, family, or friend to hear you drink/drunk or you got seriously injured or killed in a wreck or that you are guilty of vehicular man slaughter. My thought, I am not happy you drank that much. But you were still concerned about your safety and others to call me. So Bravo for making the right decision!!!
I dont approve of drinking and driving, but my family members know call me, day or night if you need a safe ride home. Yes, they know I will gather car keys. My sons (adult) and their friends know to call me in this situation. I rather get up 2-3 am (whatever the time of night it is) to drive them home then attend a funeral.
Be safe bears year round! Making a call could safe your life.
Well said, in total agreement.
My twins were born the Friday of Memorial Day weekend 28 years ago. Sweet memories. They are too big to hold in my lap now. :D
Hi there! Not memorial Day here but thanks for the warm fuzzy feeling. You be safe too!
Happy Memorial Weekend to y'all! Have fun and be safe.

Happy Memorial Day Weekend.
A little randomness today..I can't wait for the weekend
I don't drive (I'm too small to see over the wheel thingie and my paws can't touch the paw controls) but I can fly!
I flew this very small micro ultralight aircraft during our great civil war.
It is for those who died in that war that we have adopted Memorial Day in our villages so that we can honor those heroes with speeches, laying of flowers (California Poppy and Lupine) singing of songs, and lots and lots of drinking of ale.
Needless to say, I will not be drinking and flying (I will be drinking and singing though...I sing very very good after a few ales).
Also, if you are spending any time in a boat on the lake, I am reminded that every year up at Lake Woodrow Wilson, at least three people die in drunk boating wrecks. Please have fun, enjoy the day off, but come home alive.
Seriously folks, Lady Frieda does sing very well on her own. It's that after a few ales, she tends to sing non-stop....
