Concrete. Or rather, the smell of wet concrete. I want to eat the smell of petricor
"I'm fun scary!" [tot=Geishacookie]
Glad to see I wasn't the only one who thought of junk food first, rather than inedible stuff.
I sort of want to try Play-Doh, just because even though I loved it as a kid, I never actually ate it, and everyone says it's incredibly disgusting.
Straight vanilla extract or aloe vera.
I know that it's possible to eat aloe vera, but not, apparently, straight off the plant. Regret it every time.
As a side note, I find eating improbable things to be one of my favorite problem solving solutions. Like, "Oh no a metor is gonna kill us all!" "I eat it." Gets me every time.

As of right now? Everything but i can't because I'm broke :'(
Also the mushrooms that are popping up all over because it's the rainy season. Some people are experts at picking the edible ones from toxic. I'm not. They all look super nutritious though.
Playdoh. I mean, it's coulorful and has a perfect consistency (is that even a word?).
I'd love to go on a strict nut and fruit diet. Sadly, I know I could never keep that up for long.
I was gonna say cheese because I thought this was about real food and cheese is the only thing that interferes with my attempt to be vegan sometimes. Lol but ok, wild plants and grasses. Like, when I go for a walk, I kind of just want to nibble on everything and see if it's good. If it's something really unfamiliar I'll research it first to make sure I won't poison myself (good thing because I have plants like poison hemlock around here and it looks pretty edible, to be honest) but I kind of can't help but sample the wheat-like seeds of wild grasses and fresh blackberry leaves.
A surprising amount of wild plants are edible and even nutritious, but I definitely don't advocate eating them without researching them first. Especially wild mushrooms; I love mushrooms but I generally won't even touch those because it's so easy to accidentally kill yourself that way (only wild ones I've eaten are morels because they're easy to positively identify and they're freakin' gourmet).
My cat has a thing with plastic. We can't leave plastic bags of any sort anywhere in her reach, or she will eat them and get all bound up and then not eat or poop for a week. I finally figured out that's what was causing her spates of not eating or pooping and basically ordered my parents to stop using them in the wastebaskets around the house because she nibbles bits off.
So don't eat plastic, people. Plastic bad.
