No worries, hun. As says, it's easy to interpret a post in a way the originator didn't intend. I think your idea about letting the complainers speak for themselves is a great one, though! hugs and cookies!

The judges' decision is below, and I think I'll just let them explain:
This does not mean the specific who, what, where, when should be publicly posted on the forums. Only the issue should be noted, as it was.</p>
<p>Now, on to the challenge. When we mentally removed the objects in question, which was not difficult, we found beautiful individual HAs. In fact, that was the issue. We found nine teams of beautiful individual HAs, which was most certainly enough to award all teams full credit.</p>
<p>As to the bonus? Well, not so thrilling. This entire story has had a precision dance troupe as an important part, and the idea behind the Coppelias was shown in the chapter header:
</p><p>Putting matching foregrounds and/or backdrops to show team unity is a lovely conceit, but does not create a precision troupe, which should all have been variations on the same theme, except for the male characters who were dressed as Dr. Copelius, and even he might be having a matching boutonniere if they had headdresses, etc.</p>
<p>So no bonuses.</p>
<p>However, we know you would want those points, so we will award 500 points to any and all teams, who create a coordinated look and submit it on the story thread within one week. <em>smiles</em> <em>bows</em> and <em>courtsies</em>

I am constantly amazed by all the drama, and by the calm way it is always dealt with. If I were I would have stopped doing this years ago (and I'm so glad she didn't or I would never have gotten to enjoy participating)
(sigh) Goes off to spend the day fighting the Hydragellos another 300 times and doing all my quests for the Quest-A-Thon and hopes all is calm when I return. Sends out waves of calming and happy thoughts to all the participants and hopes everyone is able to relax and enjoy the rest of Wayward Squirrel.

At last! Scores for the revised Coppelias!
<p>Therefore, we are going to award 500 points to each team who submitted the revision, with an extra bonus 100 to all teams who added a revised Madi. These points are additional and simply added to your totals.</p>
<p>Now, we also felt that there were some teams who really did understand what we were looking for, and one team that was outstanding.</p>
<p>So, an EXTRA bonus to the team who exceeded our expectations and rendered a production worthy troupe of automatons to:</p>
<p>Organized Chaos--500 additional point bonus--couldn&;t have been better! Use of the same bodice with matching but not identical skirts and hairbows was exactly what we had in mind.</p>
<p>Chimeriad. Jalapenos, and Fallen Angels--300 additional point bonus to each team. Yes, they had the idea, but they were too matchy-matchy. Variety in hair ornaments and the strangely odd with the others pair of slippers in one case didn&;t quite capture it, but each Coppelius was brill!</p>
<p>Steve, Squirrel Tales, Traveler, and Galactic Misfits--150 additional points to each team, with much the same critique--Dancers were all right, but the doctors didn&;t gel well with them. The overall look didn&;t fit as a whole.

I know my mouth usually runs without my brains permission, but this time, they seem in sync when I say, I wasn't trying to be the doctor. I was a male dancer.....doll....I was a male doll.....still doesn't sound right..... I assume that won't change anyones opinion, but just to be clear!

Scoring of the last chapters will be delayed by a day. I'm so sorry, but a formal protest was filed on the scores for the Coppelia redos, and that's going to have to be dealt with first. I did ask the judges to please resolve this as quickly as possible.
