The situation surrounding the bonus Copellias has been resolved. Scores stand as released, and here's chapter 8 and 9, with a PS from the judges at the bottom. Comments welcome:

The missing construction year (1765) was solvable from CLue 2, as well as the pattern, since it listed the 120 year gap between Nakai (cat) and Funai.

Chapter 9 was judged on both the potion portion, which had specific criteria, and also the RP framework, which was more subjective, but still had guidelines of presentation of potion recipes, ingredients for potions, individual partcipation, and that elusive sense of being "in the storyline."
Critera for potions: "For the potions, you may use any and all ingredients found on Subeta. Deduce what is in Djoni and Lysandra's potions and what effects each has, what potion could have been given to the one human "ringer doll" of the fake Coppelias, and what would be the antidote for her."
Full potion (1000) points to:
Chimeriad, Fallen Angels, Galactic Misfites, Jalapenos, Organized Chaos, Squirrel Tales, Steve, Traveler
Scaled RP points:
1500: Chimeriad: Great presentation of individual characters, especially with the length requirement. Jalapenos: Best integration of potions into RP, and hilarious! Organized Chaos: Also an alchemical wonder, with integrated RP. Squirrel Tales: Best alchemically sound recipes Steve: The best "in the story" RP entry, with a real feeling of "to be continued"
1000: Fallen Angels, assignment by leader instead of individual's choices, potions just listed, but alchemically sound. Galactic Misfits, good presentation of both RP and potions too brief to reach the "storyline" feeling Traveler, Hilarious potion "recipes," but RP too abrupt to "flesh out" the individual characters.
Please remember that a partial score this high is indicative of an excellent entry! (It really should be 750, but they thought these entries were too good for that!)

<p>You are welcome, as always, to dispute our scoring, but please do it on the basis of what you feel is your achievement and why you feel your scores should be higher, and NOT your perceived shortcomings of another team&;s submission. That really isn&;t what this event is intended to be about. We know the person behind Rowan, most of us for a long time, and she would never set up such infighting. So, please, think we are hosers who can&;t judge a tree from a barn if you choose, but avoid that unsportsmanlike pitfall!)
