At least the few hours before and after are relatively comfortable. If the storm lasts through the night, the thunder is very relaxing.

But like anything, I'm starting to question the validity of coming on as often as I have.

I no fan of extremes, I look forward to the return of the cold. I find preserving body heat is more fun than to dissipate it. At least then I can go around with my car windows down, I often feel like I'm boiling.

Is it usually hot and humid where you're from? Winters here aren't much different from the summer or spring -.-

I live out in a desert, today we got near 100 F. Even then I chose not to switch on the A/C, just open windows and the overhead fan.

And come winter, I'd only rely on layers to keep warm. I don't like using heaters.

We've had 100+ the last few days. About the only time its comfortable to go outside is towards sunset. Were it not for mosquitoes, we would spend evenings outside.

The only good thing about all the rain here lately, though, is that it's been way cooler than what it was. But eh, I almost want to say I'd rather deal with the heat than the rain >->
