Woo, finally finished Llewyn's profile! He'd been kicked out of the spotlight queue before, so I pretty much redid everything. As usual, the story was the last thing I finished, but I finally wrote it last night. Yay for grumpy birbs!

after some struggle i learned how2div and now widowmaker has a neat lil front page and separate bits for her story and her battle shenanigans and refs and maybe art if i ever get around to that. i have minor quibbles (like the scrollbars for the description and the treasure don't line up anymore) but on the whole i'm quite pleased. once i clean up widow's code, ceasefire is getting a matching update 8)

I've added some basic info to a couple of my characters and I've received a profile for my darlin' Shotgun which I am incredibly happy with. Probably not much compared to what others have done however after three years of stress and months long episodes where I had no time at all for Subeta I finally have some happy space for myself so I am super proud of myself for having been able to take these small steps. Feels good to be "back in business".

So, this is from me for me:

I recently did gradient based profiles for MoonlightGem and Alessandre. I also created a background with a nice 3D Paint picture for Cherlyn, who's a birthday fairy. I'm about to make another 3D Paint thing for Myztic, who's a siren that wishes to help people.

Finally finished Sprog after changing name/species/color on her, then having NO ideas for how to proceed on doing a profile for her character :P But I think the profile turned out super cute, and I learned how to layer backgrounds in CSS yay.

I also was stumped on what to put in her TC at first, but I finally got some ideas. Too bad they were super pricey ideas, I don't wanna think how much I spent on her uggggh. Anyway, sturr for me and the sprog.

[edit] Oh yeah, she's the daughter of Llewyn who I posted about last time. Hence, her name lol.

genji's profile is done minus his tc and his pet image (need a recolor+transparent one, but i'm going to hold off until i have a few profiles done so i can get all the recolors all done at once)

moonie is also done except for his tc! i gotta catch up on the comics for that though, since each item is supposed to represent an issue from his current run p:

i want similar profiles for related pets but hanzo and mccree don't have official solo wallpapers like genji so idk what to do there just yet, and thinking about backgrounds for the rest of my marvel crew and some others gives me decision fatigue lmao yikes

Been on hiatus due to health issues. Just started working on stories again and thinking of ways to update my profiles. Added a few treasures here and there and did some editing on Gabriello's story :) I think he might actually be done. o.o Also been working on a story for Merlins and Fal off of subeta.

I am making big progress on Bair lately. Finaly have his two portraits done and finished his overlay yesterday. Now I only need to comission a custom overlay for him, cause the one on his profile is no digital art and I am not that good at it. I am still not sure if I wanna draw his BG as well or keep the screen shot form the game so.

I started to ACTUALLY organize Caffe Mocha's TC and made a WL for her. It's a sort of a half star situation, because it took me so long AND I don't think I'm actually done organizing anything.

I finally finished one of my dream pets ❤ I came across Smiley in the pound after missing the name awhile back, and after a lot of tweaking I got her profile done. I even paid up for the custom pet image, which is based on how I used to draw the character when I was little :)

By the way, if you were wondering... there are a lot of items on site with smiley faces on them. A. LOT. I don't think her TC will ever be finished -X-;

I finally changed my main pet's name and updated his treasure chest! Now Ozmund won't look out of place with my other pets despite being there from the beginning. I also was lucky enough to run into Merana and change Mische, my pirate themed pet, into a hydrus bumbus! Originally I was going to make him a Nightmare Bumbus because it reminded me of Davy Jones (and a maaaybe still might?) but this color works great for them!

this is a silly one but i didn't like the temp profile i had on most of my babs so i rewrote it and when i put them on, i went through and made adjustments so that names and things fit well and the people who had pet friends and minions that needed to be visible did and such. so now my many unfinished babies have nice clean profiles, my g.i. joes have their pet friends and so do my miraculeurs, and snake, adrien, and marinette all have their minions visible. ye!!

i also played around with halidom and after some help from i fixed their tc so until i get halidom's story nailed down and find a font i like better than papyrus lmao they're done

Friends, I can't believe it, I actually finished another pet button today. My dear Tattersail has been designed! Granted, in a 73x73 pixel image, but I'll take it. He's been in my head for too long and today I just sat down and did the research I wanted to do to get his outfit right.

He's part of my "Teashop Crew" - who are largely Victorian themed but he's a Turkish Van cat, so I wanted to dress him like a Turk. Except Turkey didn't exist in Victorian Times, so I was researching the Ottomon era, the clothing they wore, what naval soldiers wore, what headdresses were appropriate, what weapons they used...and then I had to sort of smoosh that with fictional Victorian England. FUN. Took a bit of time, but I did it. AND fixed up his treasure and profile blurb a bit.

Still a ways to go before he's anywhere near spotlight, but man that felt good.

I'm working on getting all of the gem-encrusted plushies for Floran and only have one to go! Bought him another one today! But dang are they hella expensive, usually 15-30mil. It's hard to find them for sale so when I do it's so hard to pass up! My poor sp.

I also just finished getting all of the stone plushies for my gargoyle pet, another expensive tc venture lol. AND I wrote a short story for Brimstones for a writing prompt. Not sure if I want it on his profile though. It doesn't really fit with how it is now. Also did some editing on Eriu's story. Still working on his profile. I'm not the best at making layouts so that part always takes the longest.

I've been sick for so long, it felt so good today to not feel terrible and get some stuff done! I actually feel inspired and have ideas floating around for the first time in ..dang.. since december probably. so happy for threads like this where I can blab and share since I never know how long it's gonna last for. Gotta celebrate the little things! <3

Thanks! I'm glad you're feeling better - I kinda know how it is to FINALLY have some inspiration and feel up to working on something! I have clinical depression and went a lonnnnnng time where I wasn't able to work on my pets at all. Then I finally came back after my most recent hiatus and have been able to make a lot of progress. I think I mentioned before, writing the stories is the hardest for me, so congrats on getting story work done! Your pets are all awesome (and I love that you have a peacock count hehe! I bet you're as excited as I am that they're gonna be an official species now~ I can't wait so that I can pick a color for mine, Kuranes ❤ I'm kinda holding off on making a profile for him until that happens.)

Best of luck with your health, and if you ever want story editing help, I'd be happy to lend a hand. I'm an English teacher in the real world so I actually enjoy grammar and stuff XD (yet can't finish a pet story to save my life wth)

Also ugh I'm so jealous of your pet buttons!! I wish I had the art skills to do something similar for my pets. I struggle to keep them organized on my profile, especially since all of my OCs AND fan works exist in the same omniverse, so a lot of the characters and profiles are interrelated. Also "Teashop Crew" is such a cute name.

BRAINS ARE SO WEIRD. Like you can have all these ideas and feelings and know your characters and worlds inside out and then out of nowhere it can all just disappear. 0.0 Like you still know them but you don't connect with them anymore, ya know? And the ideas, writing, art, just don't matter. It's like wth? Makes me feel so grateful that it came back. I was starting to wonder if the new un-creative version of me was it now and that's just who I was going to be for the rest of my life. o.O I'm so glad it's not! It came BACK! You must have looked at my profile hehe :D I just updated it last night, I was missing so many pets from my lists! Though now I really see how many need to be done or redone lol. Yes the peaocks!! I actually had one more but adopted it out, the ID was just too high and that's the one thing you can't change on those. I should have held onto it. Now that they are going mainstream we'll be able to switch 'em around I bet. I'm assuming they're going to get a potion or something? Soooo.. I didn't want the peacock to win. lol! I liked that they were hard to get xD If they're mainstream then they become less rare and special. (Yes, SELFISH.) I liked having a rare, pretty kirin-birb collection. I had plans to recolor them all on my own and have a flock of rare differently colored ones. But that's not a good enough reason to make anyone else unhappy that wanted them to win so I refrained from donating too much to the blob!

That's so awesome that you're a teacher! I've been considering going back to college to earn a teaching degree to teach youngsters english or art since I loved those when I was a kid and still do. Thanks for the offer to help me with editing. Tbh, usually I'm the one offering help, and it's super awesome to know that there's someone I can go to. <3 I'll warn you though, I'm one of those people who has trouble NOT writing a lot versus not knowing what to say lol! and if you need anything proofread I'm here! Not that I'd be as good as you but I try hehe :D

I feel good because I just finished my story for Archbishop. It's a sad story once again (my charas just cannot be happy *sobs) and there's no happy-ending either but whatever, I have accepted my fate. c:

I definitely want to also get a profile for him. Art is going to be difficult however, if I get sth it's probably just pet art because I picture his character to be in his late 70s or early 80s so it's going to be mission impossible to find someone who is okay with drawing human art for him...it was difficult enough with Colossus and he is only in his 40s. XD

Just so excited and also relieved that I was able to get the very last shark sP item on site to polish off my Shark TC, until more shark themed CWs are released. It's one of the few TCs I'm so proud to have. ;u;
