This is my favorite topic ever. I've absolutely loved seeing all the progress being made on everyone's pets, and it's really inspiring me to work on my own!

I finished Jarret a while ago! I keep thinking maybe I should update his art so it's not just a sketch but it takes me so long to get anything done with pets, I'm not sure I want to bother lol. He's the first pet I've ever really considered finished in my long, long time as a Subeta user haha. I'm really happy with him tbh. Today I did a quick drawing of Rohese, wrote a little blurb about her, and added her to my profile. c: She still needs a minion and overlay but I'm not totally sure what I want to do for either..

I want to work on getting more little blurbs, or at least partial descriptions, written for my pets so I can have more than 10% of my pets visible on my profile, aha. ;;; So many pets omg..

For my own progress, I wrote the poem for Yew's profile last night! I finished it and it's a decent poem. Unfortunately I don't think it is right for this character so I'm scrapping it and starting over (though I guess I can still put it in my personal portfolio :P)

There are a few pets I was thinking of getting jobs for, for their characters. It's not something I've delved into much. Is there a list of all the job tiers somewhere? How do you pick jobs for your pets?

I have jobs for everyone, & I try to pick jobs that are fitting for them. It doesn't always work out, but I definitely try haha. There's an old guide I use, but it doesn't have any newer jobs. Job Guide -- there could be a newer one I don't know about, haha.

Omg I feel this so much! There's so many pets that I want to have ready to show off but the amount of time it takes to get even one a bit presentable, it's like... who let me have all these creatures lol.

Your two pets you linked are great! Their profiles are really inspiring me to get back into custom profile coding, they're so clean and easy to navigate.

Idk who was looking for it but Job Agency Guide and Discussion is a job agency guide that I am subscribed to and seems to be up to date? They have really useful tools like a thing that finds the best job your pet could be in right now, and sorted lists by how much sP they give, highest stats needed to reach them, etc.

His profile isn't very pretty since I'm not super good at CSS and I don't have the money to spend on a custom theme, but I'm pretty satisfied with Dustin's story! His story consists of...well, a lot of self-projection but I'm proud of how it came out. I also made a humanized fullbody of him and even went to the effort of drawing a little notebook doodle that he made in-universe.

I also drew up fullbodies for everybody else except for Cassara, Isaac and Aiyana (since they're not the right color yet) and their stories are varying degrees of finished right now.

i re-did all my pet headshots for my new profile and also took the time to finally potion florise and miki n __ n (the ones with blank headshots are either waiting for overlays or i just don't know what to make them yet lol)

I finally got around to making a profile & writing up a story for Amenominakanushi! <3 They're an incredibly personal pet for me, so finding the inspiration and energy to (nearly) complete their little virtual shrine on here is.. very happy vibes for me.

I still need to make their minion an overlay, and fix up that spotlight tab, but I'm just.. glad that it looks good despite the simplicity of everything, really. I was afraid it'd be too simple, but that seems to be just what they wanted!

Now to start on Noir, who I adopted recently and has literally nothing done besides her overlay and 1/3rd of her story. Her story's gonna be a bit of a monster to write, especially the last part, but I'm feeling pretty good about it. I've already got one of the main assets for her profile done, too; it took a whole hour and a half to properly change the hair color on her official art, but I think it'll look pretty good.

I finally feel like I got some sort of grip on my menagerie after going through them all. I haven't actually finished anyone new, but I'm feeling kinda down about some other stuff so decided to give myself a star anyway for organizing :P

Now the only ones showing on my profile are completely finished, or else just need stories. Got some hard thinking to do about the rest :(

I also did the unthinkable... took one out of the spotlight queue that I think must have been approved based on how long he'd been in there :O But I just wasn't happy with him and didn't want all of Subeta seeing him if he won XD

So yeah. I don't really deserve this, but whatever.

I'm really glad I got the permission to use two amazing pieces of art for Nataly and Linna, so I made two profiles for them, which was very fun, although it took me three days to figure out layouts that wouldn't look too plain but still work with the art pieces.

I've finished Linna's story (and also turned her into a harvest neela), but Nataly's story still have something that needs to be worked on, because it's super simple.

Also, I remade Paulo's profile because I wasn't really happy with the color scheme. Unfortunately he'll have to be reviewed for spotlight now I've remade his profile...

Eeeeeeee, Animal Kingdom's overlay finally got approved! I was afraid it wouldn't but! Now my oldest pet actually has a custom unique look she can wear around the site! <3

ETA: Also made myself commit to colourizing a difficult pet. I find white pets to be some of the hardest to colour adjust properly. :/ I don't know why-- probably because it's hard to get a vibrant/deep colour without sacrificing quality. Ears are off. But two hours later and it's a start. ♥ Too bad it's just a mockup though. Couldn't decide on what pet/colour to make Dependency so I'm mocking up the five-ish different pets I'm looking at. x( Idk why I do this to myself. Good practice at least.

Ooh I love Animal Kingdom's overlay, and profile in general! ...and thanks a lot, now I wanna go back to Disney World even more badly than before :P I went twice within three months a few years ago thanks to having a work conference nearby, and now I'm dying to go back!!

Eeek, thank you! And thank you so much for the sweet gifts omg. <3 Sorry haha, most of my pets are Disney World themed! I had the privilege of living ten minutes from the back gate and had an annual pass for a year so it was like a second home to me. I had to move cross-country again but I really wish I could go back. :') I lived in probably one of the most boring towns in the Orlando area but I'd still go back if I could. But, as long as I'm here I'll put that into my pets!

Been pouting because my drawing pen died yesterday. I'm really bad about choosing speicies/colors but I made some decisions today! Ged became a storm Irion. I renamed one of my Angel Legeicas to Prairies. I moved that character/name and Alights is now an Angel Irion. Fal is now a gold Irion. Last week I made Fireopal and made her a Cherry Yaherra. Laurant is now an Angel Jollin. Created Werelit and he's a Nuclear Mahar. (for now, at least.) I also narrowed down some species choices for harrows and exaltation, they're my bad guys and I can't settle on my favorite dark colors! one of these days tho.

Wow, congrats! That's a lot of decisions made :D So many angel pets too ❤ I want at least one but can't decide on the species... maybe an Aeanoid (because I really want an Aeanoid in general) but I keep expecting the species to be revamped one day, so I'm waiting. Anyway! Werelit and Fireopal are awesome names too! I adore opals in general and fire opals are some of the prettiest ❤

I finally settled in to finish two pets (Resistance and Blimpmon)... and now the Minionizer has disappeared from SubetaLodge!! I cannot finish Resistance until I find a minion to represent BB-8, so I'm going through 148 PAGES OF MINIONS. For Blimpmon, I have his story plotted out in my head, just gotta make myself sit down and write it, then find treasure to go with it. He's one of my favorite OCs from my balloon-based epic, so I'm so pleased to be giving him some love ❤

Buuuuut now, I have to get back to preparing for my dissertation defense that's in less than a month, sigh :( Career before Subeta, sadly.

Pssssttt, I don't know if you guys have checked it recently but the minionizer is back up (at least for me).

Also, grats on the colour choices Iridescent! I have such a hard time too. I like to use the official art most of the time but I do get mine colour change overlays. I'm stuck on like six different pets for Dependency, and have no idea for Innovation or Manor. I love angelic legeicas though, their pose is wonderful. Good choice!
