Millie had taken a big bite of a pulled pork sandwhich when Merlin () bumped into her. She manged to swallow it and said, "Hi Merlin! I'm doing well. Hows your summer going?" She took a drink of her gilly water to help with heat leftover from the sandwich. She smiled and took some potato salad and took a bite. "You're right, it is good".
"Hi Rosie (), it's nice to meet you. I'm Millie, a fourth year Hufflepuff. Have you been assigned to a house yet? And thank you! I just got it. I love the colors."
Once Millie had her plate few and a glass of pineapple juice, she stepped out of line while still within listening range of Elizabeth (). "Yes it is. My mum is a muggle but she has two bakers who are witches. It's called Tudor's Sweet Treats. I'll write down the address and the secret word for you. The muggle treats are very good too." Millie looked around the room and wasn't sure where to sit, so she decided to see what everyone else would sit down too
( )
"Thats because this place is magical and I dont mean like the magic, you know? Its just go so much to look at and all, the atmosphere, its just amazing."
Magnus noticed Millie wasn't sure where to sit so he found a space at one of the table for several people and set his place down. Then he went to get some lemonade.
GETTING READY
As Callum reads the invitation he begins to get dressed in the clothes his parents gave him a couple years back. Worried about what the other kids would think of his old, ragged clothes, Callum makes an attempt to cover them with his Slytherin robe. Because of Callum’s shyness being in social situations makes him anxious. To combat his anxiety, Callum constantly carries a book around so he can read and keep himself calm. Although Callum is not the fondest of social situations he still forces himself to go to make friends. As Callum walks downstairs he promptly asks his mom to sign the slip for the bash. “Callum, have a good time and be yourself!” says his mom as Callum walks out the door.
Arriving in Diagon Alley, Callum walks towards the crowd of people looking around for any familiar faces. The closer he walks the tighter he grasps his book in worries of not knowing anybody.
Eros didn't interact much, keeping to himself as he looked over some of the available tropical sweets. He was always kind of backwards when it came to his courses, starting off with desserts, then the mains, and finally appetizers. On a small plate, he already had turon and ono butter mochi. The seventeen year old was now grabbing two slices of Cuban grilled pineapples.
"My summer's been busy, crazy, fun, and sad. So much has happen that I feel like it's been a year since I left." He giggles. "How about you? I told you it was good, I think my owl may like it too."
Merlin saw on the food table and he smiles. "Hello Eros, did you missed me? I'm sure you didn't, are you doing another quidditch workshop? I would surely go." He smirks. "I've been practicing my flying and must say I've improve some, thanks to you and my friends. But I haven't fall and that is something...I hope."
Eros attention went from filling his plate to Merlin as he was greeted. "Hey, mate," Eros replied with a soft friendly smile. "Miss you?," Eros smile grew into a grin. "I don't know. Every time I have chores to do, I hear your voice in my head telling me to get it done. Does that count?" he smirked.
"Definitely something," Eros looked at Merlin with pride. "That's good. Always reassuring to know that you can fly inconspicuously on a broom instead of going drago," he nodded before sighing. "As for doing another workshop, maybe?," Eros shrugged, having not really thought about until Merlin asked. "I guess, if I can find time between my own practice, school, and stuff. Wouldn't be on flying. Maybe on eye hand coordination or something."
Rosie listened attentively and nodded along. "Sounds like you had a fantastic time! Haven't seen a cheeky snake before though." she laughed at Merlin. Maybe she would visit later in the summer break. So long as she had time between practice she might pop round. From what she had heard Merlin's home would be a complete 180 from her own place. She sipped from her tea and quickly swallowed when Millie spoke. "I'm a fourth year too!" she stated smiling. "Am a Slytherin though... Explains why we hadn't met yet.. Maybe I'll see you in class next term!" she continued brightly. Seeing everyone eat she noticed her own stomach growling. With a blush from embarrassment she quickly munched on some of the fruit salad she had picked earlier.
Gulping down the last of her tea she looked around the pub. Most people had paired off or stood in groups. However one boy who had just arrived was looking around anxiously gripping his book tightly. Rosie looked around once more and no one seemed to have noticed him. She placed her empty dish and cup on the table and walked towards him. "Hello, I'm Rosie and I'm a Slytherin too." she greeted when she saw his Slytherin robe. She kept her voice soft and tried to not be too energetic. Hopefully the kid wouldn't be too scared with the crowd gathered.

✨ Slytherin ✨
Millie saw Magnus () nod towards a table and she smiled and joined him at a table.
Millie smiled at Merlin () and told him, "it's been okay. I've mostly been working in my mum's bakery and working on summer homework. I finally got it down to a manageable amount. 12 classes sounds impressive but the amount of work in unbearable."
Millie took a drink from her pineapple juice and continued. "I've been lonely too. Emmett had to go back to Durmstrang and I've haven't had a lot of time with spend with my other friends. I'm usually pretty tired from working in the bakery all morning,"
"I'm surpised we haven't met before, although, I usually spend most of my time in either the library or the Hufflepuff common room. I hope we do have a class together next term."
After another drink of her juice, she turned her head to someone she didn't know (). "Hello. Welcome. I'm Millie". she said with a warm smile
Merlin chuckles. "I think that counts yes, means I made a good impression on you." He laughs some more. "Well I still rather fly as a dragon but brooms are ok, at least I don't hate them anymore. Well if you do make something I'll be there to give you a headache." He grins before he leaves. "C-ya around."
"Well Thunder is very cheeky to be honest, but I better not tell many stories of him because some are embarrassing." He laughs.
"I would love to work on a bakery, but I would also want to eat everything." he giggles. "Those are lots of classes, good luck with that."
He drinks two glasses of juice before walking near the back of the pub and wondered how the Knockturn Alley was, he was not allowed to go anywhere near it but those were the things that make him curious, places he shouldn't go to so he wondered if he could take a peek.
"I really like working in my mum's bakery but there's so much work and it's exhusting. We offer both muggle and magical goods. My mum usually has me baking the magical goods, which means I have to get up really early. And thank you. I'm looking forward to dropping a few after next year. I may see about dropping Muggle Studies, seeing how I half my family are muggles.
Millie picked up her pork sandwich and took a bite. "The pork is delicious"
"I'm sure it must be exhausting since you have to make so many and very early so you can open the shop." Merlin shakes his head. "I'm a vegetarian, but enjoy."
(( do I need to restrain you? XD no wondering off!))
"Thankfully my mum let's me go home around lunch time, sometimes earlier. She knows I'm not a morning person.
"Oh, I'm sorry. You've told me that before but it slipped my mind. I would love to become a vegetarian but I'm a picker eater. I love fruit and some vegetables but not enough to keep me satisfied".
((Hahahah I think you must XD he wants to go.))
"I wake early every day, I have no problem with that, I don't like wasting time in bed when i can be out flying and doing chores." He shrugs. "It's ok. Well I just can't see myself eating meat, never done it mom says when I was a very little that I would spit it if she gave me meat. I guess my body doesn't want it and I'm fine with veggies and fruits."
(and anyone)
Magnus had gone quiet. He'd been eating and listening to the others. Even though he was a social butterfly he wasn't always the best at knowing what to say and he was comfortable in silence as well.
Merlin spotted Magnus and whispered to his ears. "I want to go out on a curiosity trip but I've being seen trying to sneak out. Just wanted to give a little peek at the Knockturn Alley." He then sighs. "I guess it can't be done."
"Maybe we can go another day?" Magnus whispered back. "Like meet up and then sneak away from Gabriel and who ever is with me."
"Good idea, maybe we can ask for time for ourselves, we are big enough to shop alone. As long as I'm not with my mom- she never lets me go alone to shops."
