Zombies haha!! It is not as good as walking dead but they are kinda along the same plot line but one guy has the cure like in him, he can be bit and not turned. Its interesting I think its a scyfi show

lol, yeah i assumed it was zombies but was interested in the plot line. And like the guy that can't be turned I think Judith will end up being the same way although it would be nice if they could somehow use her blood to save the infected. that's just the hopeful part of me though lol

i'm so grateful to have (and able to use) my kindle. when i moved from Texas to VA, about all i brought with me was a trailer full of books :D at one time, i had over 2000 books in my house. every wall, every table, piles on the floor. heh.

:( when i moved this last time, i lost almost all of them. some aren't even in print any more and i can't get them on kindle. ok. don't want to go there.

when ever i would leave the house, I ALWAYS had a book with me. now with the kindle, i can carry over a hundred books with me, and read at any time. and since i'm pretty good about keeping it charged, i don't even worry when the electric has gone out. :D :D

, mmm, red top? lol i don't remember buying a red top from her (not that i haven't, i just don't remember) the most recent red top was a Harlequin (red and black) top that i think had done and a red off the shoulder sweater top, that's similar to your tied books.

I used to collect textbooks and educational books of all sorts as well as anything relating to nature or outdoors (even action adventure novels taking place in natural settings lol). When I moved last year I was only able to take with me about 12 books. :/ So I cannot relate to losing out of print and priceless books to the quantity you did, I can relate to a small degree. hugs Luckily you have your kindle and I have the public library and local university library. ^_^ Yay for libraries!

I also loved the movie Beauty and the Beast, the scene where the Beast shows Belle the library! I always wanted that to be an entire room in my house.

That being said I also loved the collection of things Ariel had in her cavern of curious collections.

Uh oh indeed, maybe we will open the windows tonight -.- We took the pig to a pig sanctuary yesterday. I don't really know what else to do. It is like stuck there. That sounds soo good. Today I pulled out Venison ham steak, and I still have a bunch of tomatoes and squash so trying to figure out what to make with it all XDD

, how thick is the ham steak? i've always wanted to do a "braise" (liquid only half way up the meat) mmmm, if it's a nice thick one (3 inches?) then i'd put the cut tomatoes and squash in a pan. put the seasoned steak ontop pour in some beer/wine, and stick it in the oven at about 375 for 45m/hour.

heh. hell. even if it's only an inch thick, i might do that. lol just not for as long (well, at least 30min. maybe 45 because i'd want the squash and tomatoes to be done) oh. and an onion. i'd add an onion in there too.

, OOOOooo You DO understand. heh. i did bring about 3 boxes of books. but i had another 2 boxes of books that was "can not get rid of" PLUS i "THREW AWAY" (TEAR MY SOUL OUT OF MY BODY) boxes and boxes and boxes.

neither my girl OR my son does that much reading. the boy DOES do some. and i was able to give him some of my SciFi books. and the girl reads some, my paranormal romance. so some of the books went to her (thank god)

but i had a lot of Anne McCaffery (scifi, Dragon Riders, etc) that you can NOT get on kindle (i've looked because i started re-buying my fav's for the kindle, when they would be cheap, like under 5$)

i need to find an adult, who like sex scifi. lol i have almost the whole series of a story line, but it's like the 1st porno books i had ever read! O.O hahahahaaaaa, you can't find them any place, and i don't want to just throw them away.

if i ever get the "gumption" i'll put them up on ebay or something. lol maybe i can get some money for them.

it's not like i could take them to a used book store. (besides which, all the used bookstores have closed around here)

A pirate ghost who haunts a library of magical books... you like that for a HA story? I never made those till you all started discussing them and now it keeps happening :D

, let's see... she was a country gentry girl, good with animals and a good fighter. She became a pirate when she was hijacked at sea while sailing to an arranged marriage with a foreign nobleman. She ended up falling in love with the first mate, then became first mate herself when the pirates captured a fancy ship and the captain took that one over, leaving the old ship to the former first mate.

So now her boyfriend/captain got in a duel with a rival pirate while they were partying on a pirate island rest cove place... the other guy was about to cheat using a poisoned dagger, she tried to stop him, but failed... her beloved died, she took over as the new captain.

For a while she had typical pirate adventures and so on. Then she got a new romantic interest. He was the ship's doctor and more of a scholar than most pirates. He kept a detailed diary of their adventures and even got them published and they were exciting so it sold really well...

Now it was like history repeated itself. The same guy who killed her first pirate boyfriend started a fight with the new one. This time when he pulled out the poisoned dagger, she was ready for it. She stopped him but got cut with the dagger in the process and died. So of course the bereaved doctor boyfriend wrote about this. Her story became kind of famous,

But it was a long time ago and most copies of the book didn't last, they were lost at sea or ripped up or burned in fires. Now one of the last pristine copies of the entire series is at this library and her ghost decides it's the best place to haunt, so, there she is :D

The wyllop is a ghost of one of her pet rats that she tamed on the ship. This was the smartest one who lived the longest. His ghost hangs out with hers almost all the time.
