You crack me up and I love your HA! Again! :-D Yes we were talking about cooking with wine. The funny thing is I put a little dry sherry in many things I cook, but had never thought about using wine in the crock pot!

I forgot if I told you I'm going to try the beef and red wine in the slow cooker next. Who knows maybe without toms and with wine, the beef from the slow cooker will even taste good to me.

Talking about old kitties on shoulders! :-) My old kitty will ride around the house on mine and basically let me do anything I want to him. Ear drops, clip toenails, rub his belly, all no problem.

I hate when real life infringes on my fake life time!! :-P I steam all veggies with sherry! lol Turn burner on high. Put chopped veggies (mushrooms are really good this way) in a hot wok with cooking spray, stir around to coat. Hold lid over wok and pour in 1/8 to a 1/4 cup of sherry and put lid down quickly. Leave for 2 minutes. Take lid off and can lower heat or turn off if sherry all evaporated. Salt and white pepper and yummy!! I use this same technique with all different veggies. You know you're old when food is all you think about! ;-)

At least the pig didn't kill him!! 👏 I can't even imagine the chaos in your house with that pig!! lol

My sister brought her pig dog over and almost killed it DX that was scary lol. Still don't know what to do with it. Found someone to take it but I thinkchale is attached which is also a problem if we are going to eat it eventually lol

, LOL on the bird pooping on hubby (ACK!) we had a cardinal at one time, (in the yard, not pet) and my hubby had "california mirrors" on his truck (those are the real big side mirrors) any way. the bird would poop ALL over his truck. he'd sit on part of the mirror and PECK at itself!! it used to think it was another bird in his territory! SO FUNNY. but the man was always angry, because his truck was covered in bird poop :D

and yah. (I forgot to answer DIANA about that) i think our cat is about 14 also. lol we have family arguments as to how old the pets are.

(and the husband brought home a bb pistol for that damn bird. he said we had to be careful when we took it outside to shoot at the bird, not only because of the bb's hitting a neighbor, etc, but because it looks like a GUN! and i'm talking about a DIRTY HARRY Gun!) hahahaaaaa

lol. and i Roast the veggies. throw every thing on a cookie sheet with a little EVOO (olive oil) and pepper. (no salt. high high high blood pressure) oh. and last time i added some turmeric. (again. trying to help the heart and blood)

and HAHAHAHAAAAROTFLMAO YES! on the "old and food think about" (also housebound. so about the only thing i do any more, is play here, read, and cook) :D

oh geeze FLYINGKAT, if your babe is getting attached to the pig, YOU BETTER GET RID OF IT. or explain to him, the difference of "pet and food" heh. (good luck with THAT. it would break my heart) but In MY Opinion, kids need to know about "real life" (speaks the women who has NEVER Grown Up, and blames her mother, because she read her nothing but fairy tales!) :D

Still don't know what we are going to do with it but it started eating the pig food!! Man about the truck! Crazy! I am never gonna forget a story about a bb gun.There was this light that shone in one of the windows at a old house we had. My step-mom got really drunk and started trying to shoot it out with a bb gun. It didn't work and cause she was drunk she just started hitting it with the gun XDD The light broke at least I guess XD

i do know, that one summer, they had a "coyote infestation" the farmers were going crazy trying to get rid of them.

the hub and his brother n law both got 1 each. the only thing he said about it was, 'THEY STINK'

he said it was because they were getting into garbage and all, also.

personally, i think he's crazy, because this year, they're talking about hunting bear WITH A BOW!! geeze. idots.
