And it sounds like you love to cook! :-) My latest is turkey lettuce wraps but I just cut up the lettuce and put the turkey stir fry on the lettuce with some greek yogurt and sriracha! Tomorrow I'm making that again and overnight pickles. Will be my first time making the pickles so not sure how they will turn out. :-P Why does your foods sound more exciting? lol

Today Liz (my kidlet) and I went to see our 90+ year old neighbor in her rehabilitation home and she bought Liz lunch and spoiled her rotten. It was cute!

I'm now thankfully through my very busy and exhausting week. What made your week what it was? Just picking up a lot of slack at work from other coworkers has been taking a toll, I'll be okay. I always have Sunday off and I also have Monday off so I should be okay with two off. Thank you! I love colorful dresses and things so I was immediately drawn to it. I'm glad you can chat again!

I watched four different TV shows today...

• preacher on hulu. watched first episode with my husband
• i zombie third season on netflix. watched four episodes.
• being mary jane on netflix - watched first episode
• castlevania - watched first episode

all seemed pretty good. Castlevania is kind of stupid though. ;)

I don't know, some people (and I'm one of them) just have mood shifts. It's probably genetic?

All okay here, only the normal busy week after Tana´s chemo and also only one last week to go until college holidays (8 weeks no evening and weekend teaching for me, yeah! :-). Finished the scripts also.

HUGS , Hope you're able to talk your family into being safe. :( I can't really relate. I've had a good life and that i've never been in a terrible disaster like that. (the closest i ever came to something like that, was when my brother and cousin set my grandparents woods on fire. OMG. i remember running through the woods back to the house, screaming all the way. got to the house, and my dad and uncle came running to me, I couldn't even talk, because i couldn't breath! the fire department had to show up, neighbors showed up, there were a LOT of people)

but it's not like where you all are, and hundreds and hundreds of acres burning :(

well. that's not true. the Pasta e Fagioli is good for ya (pasta and beans) in fact, my cousin has been eating the pasta and beans, and a lot of chicken, and he's actually gotten better control of his diabeties. a LOT better control. the doctor told him "every time i've seen you in the past 6 months, you've gotten better and better"

if i could stop drinking white russians, then i'd probably do ok, also. :D :D :D

Flyingkat, If At ALL Possible, go and have it checked out (Gall Bladder/pain) BECAUSE (and this is the voice of experience talking here) if they catch it early enough, it's a really simple operation, with a very tiny incision

if they DO NOT get it in time (me) then you're gonna have a HUGE Slice on your abdomen, not only does it look ugly, but it takes a Long time to heal up, and the PAIN is worse then having a baby by cesarean.

(THAT one was me. i had more pain with the gall bladder operation, then i did with having a baby! Completely different muscles are cut. and you use those other muscles way differently)

ty. she's only 17, 18 in August. she had a cyst on her ovary that burst, but God took care of her. She's better now.

I have off and on tried to watch preacher but can't get into it which is strange. We watched all for episodes of castevania and it left us wanting more!! Lol do you ever watch cooking shows?

Yum yum! I am making two new ice cream pops this coming week! One ia gonna be kiwi the other pina colada! Its a family trait being able to sleep in lol! My dad can go to sleep at 9 and sleep till 2! I don't think its the gall bladder...after mentioning that my stepmom decided it was parasites lol! After taking a different heartburn med it has gone away thank god. I think I was esting to mich citrus. As for everyone chatting here just wait maybe it will become all of subeta lol!!

oh no thats not good :O

fires are at 180 or so now. the ones that are are a worry are out of control and 0% contained. severe heat warning for the areas as well. parents and sister are being stubborn and sticking it out until they get asked to leave. if it were me i woulda packed and left either way, especially with the smoke they are getting being surrounded by fires.

EDIT - just read this "Wildfire Service said 97 new fires started on Saturday — bringing the provincial total to 230 as of 8:45 a.m. PT."
