Really? 😍 That was a reason for me not to get this piercing 😧

Probably because those with the body art and mods were treated like normal human beings and not made to go through great lengths to "fit in" to the "norm."

I would definitely still consider it a permanent mod, but it can be removed by piercers, if necessary. But there's no anesthetic, and a lot of blood, and any cutting has to be done with needles. But it's doable.

Right?!

I am terrified of needles and blood sometimes makes me faint. My piercer teases me mercilessly because I love piercings anyway. xD

Oh really? Mean xD But I think it's not the best feeling when you go to the piercer and really want a piercing and you're terrified of needles 😖

I've got three holes in each ear and a nose piercing. Yeah I'm afraid of needles and after reading this post it reminds me why I don't have more. Skeered. LOL

But so worth it in the end! The only thing that's tough is finding the time for proper aftercare. With everything I've got going on in my life (2 jobs, a business, a toddler, chickens, etc.), I don't have time to do the hot sea salt soaks twice a day.

I think I may treat myself to a new piercing once my husband gets a new job. It's been a looooooooong time. Maybe I can "cheat" and just get some of the sea salt spritz to spray on it...

That's what I did for my nose one. Sprayed the sea salt. Can't really soak your nose too well and breathe that is. LOL

I have one in each ear + my bellybutton. I have no plans for more anytime soon but when/if I do they'll probably be my ears again~

2 lobe piercings in each ear. I also have a tattoo but it's on my back so no one really sees it anyway. I have considered getting another lobe piercing in one ear but i have bad luck with piercings in that during the healing process they seem to get irritated in general. Once they've healed they're fine though and I have no issues with them.

I don't plan to get anymore piercings beyond maybe future ears just because I'm not personally a fan of the look of other piercings though. Tattoos, probably though because i like the way tattoos look.

I've got triple lobes, a custom industrial, a conch, and sternum surface piercing.

One of my lobes, my conch, and sternum aren't healed yet so I'm holding off on getting more piercings, but I've got a lobe orbital, tragus, and rook lined up for future piercings.

Ohh piercings can be awesome. I've got two lobe piercings left and 3 in the right! I am also planning on getting a helix, but I moved and I don't know any good piercer here :D

Both nipples, both lobes and one anti helix. Used to have a lot more, but certain jobs required me to take them out. and a lot of them grew in. Plan on getting them back soon. Going to be getting, two more anti helix, nostril, septum, lip, two helix, another two loves,

I can't decide between a daith and a rook. I wanted a rook for the longest time, but now I feel like a daith might be sliiiightly more discreet, which is important at my current job. But I may not be there much longer, so IDK. I should probably just wait until kiddo grows out of the "grab anything shiny" age. Sigh.

I have my lobes pierced twice, I HAD a helix but it kept getting infected even four years later (which, isn't normal) so I took it out. I REALLY want a septum and maybe dimples, but I know my mom and dad wouldn't approve at all, and because I currently depend on them, I can't exactly go against their wishes.

I also want a navel piercing, but I know my parents would also freak, but for a different reason; I'm fat. Not even "pretty" fat, like an hourglass, or pear, I'm all stomach and thigh, and my mom has voiced her opinion about fat people getting navel piercings before. It wasn't... AS bad as it could be, but she has said fat people shouldn't get navel piercings if they aren't going to show their stomach, and doing so is "just a waste of money". I'm not confident in my body, so I wouldn't show my stomach. I think a navel piercing might make me like my stomach more, but as long as I live under their roof, and have $0 of my own, I can't exactly do what I want just yet.

i have my lobes pierced. it's a custom around here to pierce the ear lobes of a girl AND to put gold [but small] earrings on her. o.o

i'm scared of needles that are meant to pierce the skin, especially if they're close to the skin. not getting more.
