Hello! This is super helpful and clear and I'm having fun messing around with it now!
I do have one question though. For me, the comment box extends outside the column by quite a bit. I checked on a few of the profiles of users in this thread and they all have the same problem for me, so I'm thinking it might have something to do with me using a tablet? (I'm not good at understanding this kind of thing lol) Do you have any ideas on how to fix this? Thank you!

I am super tired so I may have just missed something but all I want is to change my background and keep everything else the same. Is that possible? I have been playing around with codes for an hour and I have no idea what I am doing just that it as far as I can tell isn't doing anything. I tried putting the code in Preferences like Bug suggested and in the box on my profile like you suggested. Thank you for helping all us coding noobs.

hi, this is the part you need to change, it's in caps:

html{background-color:; cursor:default; background:url(URL GOES HERE);}

the bit with the ffffff before that at the beginning is the color the background will be before your image loads unless you don't want an image as your backdrop then you just remove the background:url bit completely and change the ffffff (white) to a different color hex code

awesome stuff! i'll be using this as a base to edit stuff around! any ideas on how to change the position on various parts of the profile? change size/width, etc. also, what would you recommend to use for a floating image? i have a certain look i want to go for with my profile : D sorry for all the questions !

with b = bold, i = italic, and u = underlined c: you can change the style in the brackets as suited
