One thing I noticed, I always click the challenger image to start the battle, but that doesn't select the active pet automatically. Could it be added to that link too?

Ooh, I had another thought just now. The Game Over text and the See Results button are a little redundant? So could we take out the text and change the button to say game over or end battle or something? (idk if it's possible but it'd be super cool if it could say Victory, Tied, or Defeat depending who won) (Also mostly whining cause the game over text pushes the button juuuuust off-screen for me)
Ehh you can click the link in the text itself... It is a bit redundant but not worth the effort to figure out how best to change it imo. Not a bad suggestion, but I don't yet feel like it's a necessary.

omg Thank you for removing that loading animation! I didn't like how the paged bounced on every move. It seemed to trigger my motion sickness (the old version did as well). It was worse if I was tired or had a headache.
And I love the start next level instead of heading back to the quest giver.
Though, is there a reason the page auto scrolls down past the top links? I'm not that bothered by it. I was just getting confused as to when I scrolled before noticing it wasn't me.

Could the damage dealt and healing information be moved to the top of the battle text instead of having to scroll to the bottom? Other than that I like that the scrolls and potions have images once again! I literally kept clicking on the scroll image in the old UI every time instead of the drop down menu so this style definitely works better for me.
I love that you got rid of one of those extra pages! ^_^ I hated that one so much.
Fully support auto-selecting the active pet in BQs when you've clicked via the challenger image too - I always click on the image so I don't accidentally click on the wrong button.
I'm not sure it's doable, but would it be possible to have the battle HP of our battle pet & enemy fixed at the top of the battle text, so when we scroll down it stays visible?
Or something along the lines because sometimes I can't see the damage dealt and the HP remaining at the same time so I have to keep scrolling up/down
Anyway you could add this:
Challenge an Opponent | Armory | Scrolls | Beginner Guide | In-depth Guide | Statistics | Spend Exp | Battle Shop | Healer
To the top of the healer page too.
Battle quests and the Training Center might be a good additions to that tool bar too. You could make more room by changing the "Challenge an opponent" link to just say "Challenge"

Thats too bad, that is such a break in the flow of battling especially in boss battles where you are required to lose, and the healer is 95% used for the BC. It's like a black hole that you get to from the BC and then can't get back out.
This is probably more complicated than I am giving it credit for but the other thing I was thinking was on the challenge opponent page, is there anyway for your browser to remember the last tab you had visited?
For example, I go to the challenge opponent page. I click the event tab, start a battle against Hydra, lose, heal, ect. Then when I go back to the challenge opponent page it remembers what tab I was previously on?
Alternatively could every opponent be listed on the main tab, and then you could use the tabs more as filters? Or instead of sorting by the arbitrary source of the opponent, group them by Token difficulty? The challenge opponent page has gotten so annoying to navigate since those tabs were added.

I mean, I just open the Healer in a new tab usually and close that tab when I'm done. For the boss battle I actually bookmarked the specific link that heals my pet, so I just click that button and I'm good.
The Challenge Opponent page will get its revamp in the near future.

here's my main gripe with the new layout: it used to be if i wanted to avoid scrolling, i could just zoom out to 80% and see everything at once. now i have no choice but to scroll down inside the battle box to see damage and healing. i don't care about flavor text, and i don't care about icons. i just want to see those numbers so i can know how much damage i'm doing each turn. can't those numbers be put above the icons instead?
I think I came up with a good solution to the problem.
Getting to the healer was never the problem, but getting back to fight was always the annoying part. I also have the heal a specific pet link on my bookmarks bar, I just made a link back to the hydra as well, and it closes the loop a little better.
From a UI standpoint it does still seem odd to me that in a header of links that all link between each other, one of them leads to a dead end. And the one that leads to a dead end is one that you would normally do in the middle of the other links (ie you go to heal presumably so you can go back and battle)

Maybe it would be a good idea to lock this? Most (if not all) of the OP's suggestions have been implemented or otherwise addressed. People are starting to post about the new layout here and it's much easier for me if that's on one board (the one I linked above) instead of two.
