Oh gosh. Chocolate chip pancakes sound soo good right now. I'm pregzilla and instead of cravings, almost everything I think of sounds delicious.
This was more a RAOK for my husband, but involved me, so I guess it counts. My husband is in the USAF national guard. His base is a 2 hour drive one-way, and he drives it every day. So the other day, instead of making dinner after dark when he gets home like usual, we decided to just meet in town about 30 minutes down the road to eat out that evening. Bear in mind, he was coming straight from work, so he was still in his ABUs (camo uniform). We picked a Mexican restaurant. We ordered a pretty hefty meal since both of us were starving. Money's been a little tight, but we decided to splurge that evening. Well, we finished our meal, got our bill, walked up to the front to pay, and were informed that our meal had already been paid for. We were confused, so the host said an elderly gentleman who had left just a minute or two ago had paid for our meal in full. I like to people watch and while we were eating, I at least briefly glanced at everyone in the restaurant, and there was no one there we knew. So this was a total stranger. We thanked the host, left a sizeable tip, and left. As we were headed back to our car, we saw a little red pickup truck pull out of the parking lot with a ribbon bumper sticker on the back. It pulled away too fast for me to see what the ribbon said, but if I had to guess, I'd say it was a veteran ribbon and he was the gentleman who'd paid for our food. We were so grateful, I was actually teary-eyed. I wish we'd had a chance to thank him.
chocolate chip pancakes!!! One time someone was looking for a song. And it was pretty obscure, I guess, since I went through pages and pages of google search, trying different keywords. Well anyway I spent hours searching for it and I finally found it for them, and they were really happy. It was a few years ago and I still think about it, hehe. Sometimes I wonder if I got more joy from being able to help them than they got by actually finding out the song.
A friend of mine recently opened up to me about her eating disorder, which no one knows about apart from her mom, her step-dad and her therapist. She kept it in for quite a long time and said that she doesn't even know how to eat propably anymore, so I just listened until she finished her story and told her that she needs help to work through this and offered her that we can work on that together. So starting the week after next, we will be (sort of) living together, cooking together and eating together and the moment I said that her eyes got teary and and she agreed to that and she was very happy and thanked me multiple times. That moment I felt really good, because she is very important to me and the possibility that I might be able to help her get better, although I'm no qualified person in this field makes me incredibly happy.
Wish us luck that we work through this and that one day she won't need me anymore for that and can lead a happy life, accepting herself for who she is and eat chocolate chip pancakes without having horrible thoughts about it.

Woo chocolate chip pancakes !!
The best good deed that ever happened to me was during Christmas time, an older lady paid for my McDonald's order because she said she "just got back from Church and was in the giving mood". It was so sweet! I was younger, like 15, so I didn't think to turn around and pay for the person behind me. I regret that, but some day I'll do it!
My goal in life is to have enough money to do something sweet like that, where you pay off someone's debt or pay for someone's meal.
Chocolate chip pancakes!...mmm, now I want food.
I used to get picked on a lot when I was younger, and now as a wise 24 year old (pfft. couldn't write that with a straight face) I like to try and make life easier and nicer for the people around me. I always try and give people good advice, and help when I can. I basically try and be really nice so that people will like me.
I also adopted a black cat because I read they get euthanized first, before other cats. I don't know if its true or not, but I'm glad I have my Midnight either way ^w^
Leave it to me: I'm always top banana in the shock department.
I have been blessed with a good church family that has always been there for my own family. One good deed really stands out amongst all the rest.
At the end of October 2016 I went into surgery to have a complete hysterectomy along with having a cystocele and rectocele repair. This was a major surgery and I was so worried about how I was going to manage my household that includes my husband and 4 children. The day before my surgery I got a phone call from my friend Karri (who has 5 children of her own) and she informed me that she would like to offer to keep Andi (at the time she was 11 months old). She also said the ladies at church had a surprise for us all. They had gotten together and had made a meal plan, 7 of them would make a dish and deliver it to our house every evening to help keep me off my feet and help my husband out with things since he still was going to have to work while I was down. I was so surprised and felt incredibly blessed. This took and huge about if pressure off of me. Karri ended up keeping Andi for an entire week and the HUGE meals the other ladies provided were all delicious. By the end of that week I was well on my way to healing up slowly but the help they provided made such a huge difference for us. I was able to really heal, real, and began my recovery. I'll never forget how wonderful that experience was even though all the pain I went through, I was and still am so blessed to have my church family all of whom I love dearly.

My dad is really sweet, he is always there for me. The past two weeks he drove me to the hospital three times and to therapy once. He waits in the car til I am done and doesn't complain. I don't know where I would be without him. He even lent me 50 euros so I could do groceries this week.
thanks for the ping
Great giveaway! I love reading the stories C:
Every day I get to help people feel good at work. I do massages, facials and pedicures. I so enjoy making people feel beautiful and relaxed!
One nice thing I did that made me happy - a few months ago I donated enough money to the Donors Choose site (donorschoose.org) when there was double matching that the teacher I donated to got their full request filled, it was very nice to see the kids enjoying the new equipment for their classroom.
I can't eat chocolate chip pancakes anymore because of food intolerance, I am sad about this, but still make them for my husband and son sometimes anyway ;)
thanks for showing me how to play this game! That's one nice thing someone did for me that made me happy.
How nice of you :) and for what I have done is at work I took on a child that has serious health problems and difficulties and I have been the one caring for them since no one at work wanted to take on the responsibility. I can say now that this child is full of energy and happiness despite their condition!:D

❤️
A friend recently talked to me and offered some Loyalty items with the LPs he had lying around. Chatting is already fun, I did not expect prezzies.
thanks for the conversation and gifts!
"chocolate chip pancakes"
Mmm, chocolate chip pancakes. A co-worker had a coconut spray she bought when on holidays some years ago. She'd sparingly used it, as she loved the smell and it reminded her of that time, yet it had still gotten down to the last few drops. She thought once it had run out that would be it unless she one day visited that place again. I did some research on the brand and stockists, and managed to find it for her - popped it into her drawer so that next time she reached for her spray she found the full bottle. She was so pleased, and now she can spray it as she pleases - the office smells lovely!
Chocolate chip pancakes sound delicious.
My parents are still paying for my education and driving over to my university every so often to check in on me and bring me food, so that's pretty amazing.
chocolate chip pancakes
One of my friends on here lent me a weapon for a whole 9 months when I hit T9, until I could afford to buy one for myself. So generous <3

I sent away the Graveyard Paralix Plushie from yesterday to a friend. I also sent away the Cotton Candy Blob Kitty I bought last night because I couldn't stay on longer for RS and wasn't interested in the stuff available in the first place. Am trying to get the ever so popular makeup and hair.
