Yes please! My spring semester ends in late April, so bumping Vesnali into May actually gives me a chance to really participate after winding down from finals. :D

Obviously I'm in the minority here, but no, I don't like it being pushed back at all. Especially as the only reason this is happening is because everything broke during Masquerade....

I'd stupidly always thought Vesnali was loosely based around the Easter holiday, and the beginning of Spring - neither of which fall in mid May -_-

Early May would be okay if we have to move it. :)

I too hope this becomes permanent. These are my two favorite holidays and a break between would make them even more enjoyable.

While Vesnali was original based around the Easter period, it never was a 100% thing. I mean, we had years when Easter was during Masquerade and all.

In fact, speaking of the devil, Masquerade is based around Mardi Gras. Mardi Gras's date this year? February 28th. We might be off the mark a little.

It's another reason I like the date change - because it feels less like an Easter clone.

I mean, Vesnali usually takes place in April but the beginning of spring is technically around mid to late March (which is when we have Masquerade).

So Vesnali is more of like Spring in general, which May is kind of like right in the middle of spring. It still makes sense to me, and as much as I love the holidays I do enjoy having some time in between them.

May is one of my on the road months. I don't play on mobile so I get less time to play.

I don't see why not. At least I can't think of a decent reason to be against it. I certainly welcome the gap this year; Masq has been a bit full-on so far.

I'm one of the ones that sometimes gets burned out during spring when there's back to back Subetan holidays from February onward so I'd actually like for this to be permanent too. It gives users, myself included, a breather between Masquerade and the next holiday coming after.

I don't like Vesnali being pushed back and occurring in May permanently. Not really that pleased with the extension of this year's Masquerade and the change of date for Vesnali.

In the minority here, so undoubtedly it might end up happening regardless....

I really don't see why the last week of April isn't doable.

I'm kinda for this because Vesnali usually happens so soon after masquerade that I feel really burnt out and end up not participating much. But tbh everyone who is against it has good reasons as well so I guess I'm ultimately indifferent either way :)

I'd love Vesnali to come later permanently. I get burned out on the holidays being so close together, and often by the time Vesnali comes around I'm only putting in 50% of the effort I put into Survival or Masq. I'm not motivated! Its not that I don't love the celebrating on the forums, new pet colors and all the beautiful items, but that it all comes to feel so darn repetitive when each holiday is so close together. I need a good few weeks of winding down time before I can feel excited to get back on the forums and do the dancing/kissing/flowers etc.

I always thought of Vesnali like a celebration of fertility, instead of similar to the Easter we have today. To me, it makes sense to celebrate when everything is finally in bloom and green, and that's really dependent on your region. In mine, late April is green, but it's still rainy and mostly blah. Maybe that's why I wouldn't mind it being the middle of May? But, I don't really mind either way- Vesnali could come in late May to early June, Early May, late April or whatever- I'll come back and play for the pretties... I just wouldn't mind a nice, slow break from dancing before going right into a celebration again.

Here, it's even more ridiculous, snow isn't done melting here in April.

Our idiom tell us to not dress down in April because we might be caught by poor weather, but May is good to go.

Meanwhile in southeast Texas it's been in the 80s for like the past month already. May as well be summer, but I still enjoy cute spring items in whichever month. :P

Vesnali is arguably my favorite of the Subetan holidays, I'm in favor of it being pushed back if that helps it become less of a post-Masq afterthought.
