I'm starting to wonder how many people have managed to get the mortiking achievement? I've only managed to spot him 3 times, but every time, one or more coffins were in the way, so I could never fully uncover it. With how big he is, it seems almost impossible to not get any coffins blocking it?

Same.. I've seen him 5-6 times actually but all were unsuccessful... one time I almost uncovered him completely but that one coffin in the way.. made me rage.. Also, is the wizard skull rare? I've played gravedigger numerous times and have yet to seen one.. [edit] Make that 7 LOL..

While they do show up less often than the Ghost, I think that the smaller sizes of the Wizard Skull (and Quentin Skull) makes them a bit trickier to find, perhaps skewing their appearance rating a tad.

Do you have to make it to the end to get the achievement for the discoverables or do you just need to submit your score?

You can just submit your score to get achievements, even if you die in the game.

I FINALLY uncovered the wizard skull tonight! I had seen it a few days ago, but it was partially covered by a grave DX

Helpful guide for sure. Some of what tips you offered I had already figured out (finished hard mode several times, actually), but I wasn't getting any achievements except the cumulative ghosts one! Here's to hoping another round of tries will uncover something else!

SIGH I've still have not gotten Uncover the entire mortiking in Gravedigger! Uncover Quentin's Skull Uncover the Wizard's Skull

is there any specific locations any one has seen them in? beg. mid. or end ?

Finally found a wizard skull for the first time (at about 80 depth). Still haven't seen a Quentin skull, and haven't seen the Mortiking in a few months.. I feel like giving up :)

EDIT: Complaining helps. Saw the Mortiking at about 170 depth (on hard mode). Didn't have enough shovels to uncover.

Edit 2: Found the Mortiking twice. Once at about 170 depth again, and the next time at the very beginning. Both times he was blocked by chests, so I wasn't able to uncover him. Both times at hard mode.

I just found a Quintin skull today xD my luck! I've found the skulls in the easy and hard modes the most. I complained a lot but still haven't found the wizard skull lol May I ask what difficulty you found it in?

Congrats on getting Quentin! I found the Wizard in hard mode.

I have also seen the Mortiking again in easy mode, but with no shovels to uncover him (at the very end). I'm not sure if I should try again in easy mode (hard to save enough shovels), medium mode (haven't seen it there yet) or hard mode (way too many coffins).

Found the Mortiking again, this time on medium, at about 70-80 depth. Had two coffins blocking me from getting the achievement.

This is getting on my nerves :D

Edit: found the Mortiking, easy, about 25 depth. A couple of coffins got in the way again.

Found the Wizard again, easy mode at about 20 depth, a bit to the right of the middle.

Lol I was wondering the other day if the game programmers forgot to put a wizard skull in my game xD I tried easy mode and found another skelly instead XD anddd I have already gotten it...

grrrrrrrrrrrrrr i play this game for a loooooooooong time now and i still have to "see" that big guy !!! he never shows up for me

mortiking is the last one that i need all others are lucky for me down now

but the big guy does not show up not when i stay left nore does it when i stay right or in the middle i guess its random ??

Since I'm look for the Mortiking Skeleton and Quinton's skull, and it's completely random, I'm just sticking with "medium" and eliminating the 3 blocks on the right hand side all the way down. Power-ups help me to move to six blocks when I can, but it's mostly just memorizing the different layouts/ power-up patterns and crossing my fingers for the RNG gods to favor me eventually.

EDIT: medium, depth @ 43, Mortiking skeleton with ONE COFFIN covering it!!! >w<

I'm so sorry, I don't. I'm pretty sure it was on medium and I think it was a shallow dig, maybe no deeper than 25 - 35? I just remember being so excited that I didn't even think to check when I posted TT---TT
