Char watched the boys rough-housing and looked at Lee. "I could do that ya know." she grinned playfully wrapping her arms around his head in a faux headlock till she got jerky in her mouth. "Oh! mMMm" She smiled with her eyes at Lee, 'He just got me...like were on the same wavelength'

She looked at Merlin and her ears perked she was so curious now and trying to use her vantage point to see.

Lee laughed as Charlotte attempted to wrestle his head. "Maybe another time, when we can be alone, " he whispered.

"Excuse me, Miss Tamsin, I don't supposed you have any of the flowers on you...? We could get a scent off it and track them down, I know a few of us could anyway."

Magnus had smelt her and quickly got himself out of Drew's hold. He snapped to attention. He wondered if she knew Paul? There weren't to many British born, American speaking aurors were there? He wasnt' sure but now he was back to his best behaviour.

Magnus raised his hand, "Will the effects be different for a er... werewolf?" The scent question was a really good one.

Tamsin cackled. "I like ya! Clever boy, yes clever, but unfortunately no. I have none, not even a picture. Lucky us!" She looked at everyone with creepy looking eyes. "I truly hope none of you lose an eye over them but we are getting them!"

[edit] Tamsin looked at and smiled wickedly. "Who knows, maybe or maybe it can turn you into a bunny." She then seriously said. "Maybe it can take your condition away, unfortunately not permanetly."

She looked down at Lee her cheeks going pink from his response. " You cheeky bugger! Maybe I should get down eh? Dont want to wear you down to early on our adventure!" she couldnt believe his sass! "Miss Tamsin?" she raised her hand in the air from her spot on Lees shoulders. "Has the magic of these flowers...eh...been tested on faeries?" she was a bit concerned she might go all nuts. She sheepishly fluffed her hand through her hair.

Magnus wasn't really phased by her--Paul got that way sometimes too. Aurors, they liked adventure and odd things. "Okay," he said with a chuckle, "well I'll make sure ta hop to it."

Lee chuckled. "You might want to get down, but...yeah I am cheeky."

Lee nodded, then looked concerned at people asking about the effects on other species. "Miss Tamsin, what about people who naturally....flow..with changes, would it affect them more or less...?"

Drew frowned. There was something about this woman that he didn't like. He couldn't put his finger on it, but... He looked at Magnus and Lee and they didn't seem bother by her. Sighing, he chalked it up to just being an average human. If his friends didn't detect anything maybe he shouldn't worry. He stroked Dodger as Lee and Mags both asked questions and received not so reassuring answers. At the comment to Magnus, Drew bristled slightly and without bothering to raise his hand, he said, "Just why are we doing this? Seems to me that we're doing your dirty work and not getting a heck of a lot out of the deal, other than being allowed into the Forbidden Forest. I mean we're risking ourselves in several ways for someone we don't even know."

Tamsin was loving the questions and chuckled after asked about fairies. "Well, humm...let's put it this way no one knows what happens, they just release magic that affects differently to each creature. "My father once told me he saw a deer eating one and got turned into troll, obviously he ran away with his life, but barely." Then she laughed so much everyone was wondering if she was ok. "So the answer is I have no idea! I am sure it will be fine darling, after all the effects don't last long and I am here with you, what can possibly go wrong?"

"I am sure it will just affect you the same as everyone, I really don't know why you all worry so much, its just a flower."

Tamsin frowned and looked hurt. "No one is forcing you to do anything young one, if you don't wish to assist me that is fine. The headmistress gave me permission...my parents they suffered lots in the past war, my father was killed by death eaters and my mother has never been the same since. i just want to cheer her up." Her eyes were wet, but then shook her head. "If you are scared just go back to your warm bed."

"Paul can get a little creepy like this," Magnus whispered, "I think they thrive on the adventure." Magnus' mouth made an O at Drew's question. Wow that was bold--and cool. For his part, Magnus was excited and super eager to get going.

Lee's eyes narrowed at Miss Tamsin's 'I am here what could possibly go wrong' comment. A quiet growl built in his chest and issued forth. He could feel his face start to shift, but he calmed himself.

Tamsin reminded Charlotte a lot of a cheshire cat. She pecked Lee once more then slid down from his shoulders.

"Guys," she said to Drew, Mags and Lee "Dont let me like...strip down and try to become queen of the forest or somethin..." she hadnt heard of these flowers before and she liked gardening but she was...well...buxom and didnt want to be giving any of her classmates a show.

She looked at Drew with surprise and admiration for his sass and looked at Miss Tamsin.

Merlin stepped in for a second. "Guys, I am sure it will be fine...the flowers are harmless. The headmistress told me so and I have seen them...just never picked them."

Lee laughed. "I guarantee nothing...but I will try. I will, " he blushed, " cover you if I need to."

Lee still looked unconvinced, but nodded.

Outfit Not Found She leaned over to Lee...and blush smiled her lips pursing. "Umm...thank you...though I feel this is a difficult decision for you!" she had widened eyes but was getting over it quickly.

She looked at Merlin. "Is this like..."windows are safe" in the common room talk...or...Im goin be given my classmates a show talk?" she did want to go...she just...was concerned she might embarrass herself in front of her new friends and classmates.

Merlin smiled. "Lottie, we will protect you, there are several of us and we will all watch our backs not just Miss Tamsin, she is a bit nuts but seems ok."

Tamsin rolled her eyes but said nothing.

Merlin then added. "If you go bananas, no one will tell the rest of the school -right?" Merlin looked at the others with a grin.

Lee looked at Charlotte with concern, then at his prefect. "Yes, windows safe or fake speech..? The jury is still out on those windows."

Drew narrowed his eyes. "I'm not scared," he stated firmly. "And I don't buy sob stories, especially not from someone who seems unconcerned one minute and then tries to cry the next." He could feel the others staring at him and thought briefly about backing down, but there was one thing his friends didn't know...Andrew Blake Wilder was stubborn and didn't back down easily at times. "I would think that if you knew about the flowers emitting magic you could at least give us a charm to shield from that as we went searching and picking for you."

Lottie pursed her lips and nodded. "Ok...I'm sure your right...." she still looked concerned but she had faith in her friends...and that they wouldnt let her compromise herself. She could sass with the rest...but there was a line.

EDIT She also didnt want to hurt someone with her tail...teeth or claws...she could be tough to handle if she lost it...she wouldnt be to pleased being stunned or something...but better that then strangling someone to death...or tearing out their throats.

Lee didnt trust this auror either, his run in with Paul had left a sour taste in his mouth for them, but he did see a point. "Guys, don't they teach you shield spells here...? Cast it and pick the flower. If that doesn't work, "he added, looking at Miss Tamsin, "then we have an issue."

He made certain his point was made to Miss Tamsin. "Deceit has a distinct smell."
