Reminder that today (Aug. 20) is the last day to vote for the entry you want to win the Beanbag Shop NPC contest!
Tomorrow (Aug. 21) is the final day of the Cash Shop Bonus Weekend; take advantage of that while you can.
Finally, today is also the first day of the Quest-A-Thon! You have through August 27 to do as many quests as you can to help us meet the goal of 1,000,000 quests!

Have you been doing your quests? Remember that the Quest-A-Thon goes through Sunday (Aug. 27) and the goal is 1,000,000 quests! All quests are also functioning as Weekend Special Quests for the remainder of the event, so take advantage of that to get some extra rewards!
Also keep in mind that the Gelatin War is currently ongoing! It lasts through Wednesday (Aug. 30), but I wanted to post some updates from the battle admins in case anyone missed them in the news comments.

<p>You can battle with as many pets as you&;d like. All of them can get prizes based on the damage they deal.</p>

<p>The only prize that is limited is the Core. It is limited to one per user, regardless of how many pets they have that deal 5 mil+ damage.</p>

<p>The tiers of pets have no effect on the prizes they can get. There&;s no top prize per tier for this.</p>

<p>The Core is the top prize.

Also, if your pet isn't strong enough to deal 5mil damage, there's still prizes to those who deal less damage (though not as expensive as the Core, but still)

We made the goal for the Quest-A-Thon! All quests are still functioning as Weekend Special Quests until the end of today, so take at advantage of that while it lasts.
Another reminder that the Gelatin War will be ending after 11:59 PM on Wednesday (Aug. 30). Finish your battles against the Hydragellos and other Gelatin opponents before then. See the first post of this thread for additional information regarding the boss battle prizes.
Also, the end of the month is almost here! August donation presents and collections will be retiring again after Thursday (Aug. 31).
And finally, the Bloody Shark Jaw is scheduled to be retired from the Cash Shop on Friday (September 1).

This is your 2 week reminder that the Fall season is almost here! You have until September 22 to get any Summer items from the Millionaire Center and Quest Shops before they increase in price/are retired until next year.
Also, holiday season is right around the corner, beginning with Subeta's anniversary and Keelhauliday coming up later this month! Get ready for more activities and new items!

Only the seasonal items (although they don't permanently retire, they get brought back each year).
The easiest way to tell is that they are the most expensive items in the shop (usually in the 40-60+ price range). They also tend to have a pretty obvious theme with whatever the current season is, so the summer items are like tropical or beach or picnic themed, things like that.
[edit]Also, there are currently 3 summer-themed items in each person's section of the quest shop, so that should help you as well.
