It's hard to say. It's usually about a month or 6 weeks after the end of the previous term but with Mary having to step down, it maybe longer. They will make a post with the start date

Things are crazy here too. I'm buying a house! Which I do not recommend doing during the holidays, I'm pulling my hair out.

bad in some ways. We had heavy rains and found out our roof was leaking. Mum was in the hospital do to a doctor's mistake. It was really scary. I had to get my first pair of glasses, but one of the lenses was ruined in the making so have to go back when theyve been remade, roof was repaired but we lost some electricity. Then the following day, needed to get electrician and the roofers covered it. But we also took a cat in (Friday) and today got him a home so that was good.

Omg hi Mary! Ok so in relevant Potter news, I saw Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on Broadway yesterday and it was incredible! I didn't read the screenplay and while the plot did disappoint me, the play overall was such an amazing experience and the acting, special effects, and sets were superb. The show is in two parts so I went back to my apartment in between for dinner and had Butterbeer, Chocolate Frogs, and Bertie Botts Beans as a festive dessert for my guests.

I saw the Harry Potter History of Magic exhibit at the New York Historical Society too and that was also extremely well done. Each part of the exhibit was a different Hogwarts subject and combined Potter things with real artifacts from history. Rowling's original manuscripts and doodles were fascinating, and there were also painted portraits of characters and things like color studies of dragon eggs. The only Potter thing I haven't liked since I last spoke to you was the second Fantastic Beasts movie. I thought the story and character development was really lacking, and that the movie was badly paced.

How are you?? I haven't had as much time for Subeta and Wizarding since moving but I hope to have enough during the next term. You must be super busy too, and I'm sad that you're not leading Wizarding anymore even though I'm happy that you're pursuing your goals irl (and Liz is doing a great job at the helm).

Hey, wasn't sure if I should put this here or if I should do a different board.

Would anyone be able to help me out? I'm looking to make a new character for here and retire most of my others, but I am having a hard time picking a hairstyle. I have a habit of picking hairstyles that either are cut weird or have a color that doesn't come in a wider variety, so I back myself into a corner on what I can use for my entries for assignments. Anyone have any styles they like to use/can suggest?

I haven't really created it yet. I usually try creating an avatar first and see where that takes me.

I am probably going to end up doing sort of a hybrid between Harper and Sadie though. Not too extroverted and a little weird.

How do you feel about using hair coupons and hex codes? On the other hand, black is a good shade if you're looking for a wide variety of styles. c:

Yeah, and I think it's easier to use longer hair because then you can do more with updos and whatnot. Just gotta try to pick colors that aren't going to be difficult to work with. I always had trouble with Harper's color. And then Sadie's was short, so I couldn't do much with it.
